Lol. I assume in most of europe the patriot eurocup stuff and maybe some fathers day or something stuff is the festive focus at the moment.

Anyways my general opinion is that anything except pride parades/parties/whatever is super unnecessary.

If you want ugly pride shirts you can buy them year round on etsy, and needing to be able to buy stuff with your flag stamped on it is super lame already, but even 1000x lamer when you get it from big corporations.

I also never see normal gay men/lesbians wearing/owning any of that stuff, only terminally online teens and amberlyn reid type adults.

I mean yeah most pride parades are just a bunch of people waving rainbows with half of the people dressed like degenerates, i dont think its gonna change anyones minds, its just for fun. Normal peoples opinions on gays get changed by being around gays who behave like normal people.

All the users on this subreddit are also a clown show, accidentally clicked on someones profile and shes a 22 year old polyarmous nonbinary transman autist who browses ftmfeminimity and never passes to anyone except other kweers, I never see anyone here with just a regular gay flair, just trans flag, bi flag or some bs i dont even recognise

Pride month might as well be called Cluster B month, these people are mentally ill. OMGWTFBBQ² community have more disorders diagnosed than general population.

It's no secret that high profile talking head in the community are mentally ill and spread their disorders through group hysteria.

TL;DR Pride month glorifies mental illness and spreads it.

Manipulative and deceitful behavior for personal gain, check.
Playing the victim when they're the aggressor, check.
Lack of remorse after hurting others, check.
Being extremely opinionated after analyzing an issue for no more than 5 minutes due to low attention span, check.
Being unreasonably irritable, aggressive and violent, check.
Not taking responsibility for anything bad they do, check.

Western society is in an abusive relationship with cluster B psychos. This pride shit and the woke movement will only end when the abused side realizes the people they're dealing with belong in an asylum or on an electric chair.

I can more or less summarize the loss of momentum in the Pride movement (as far as the company / business side of thing goes) as the increasing brand risk that is a community who:

1. Won't self-police themselves, at all, they are allergic to gatekeeping and opening their mouths about the absolute MONSTERS that hide around them unless it's someone who goes against the grain of their own interests.

2. Are volatile by virtue of being too intersectional? I think is the word. They aren't a solid base to sell to, I'm going to say, because they've grafted on so much shit onto their community, reflected by how fucking disgusting they've made the flag with those browns and pastels against the pretty rainbow.

Then finally, 3. Have a complete lack of self-awareness regarding how people see them and why people see them that way, or are AWARE but maliciously don't do anything. Trust me, there are people that are aware. But it's safer for their own pockets or places of power to keep their mouth shut until it's acceptable to not validate and welcome in actual lunatics.

I guess it's also because it just isn't as profitable, and the sentiment revolving around the people involved is souring very, very quickly. They don't do much to help with this. They're advertising goods to the 1% of a country and the people who support their movement that's being slowly stigmatized due to the reasons listed above.

Corpos want guaranteed and secured growth and returns. Things aren't looking good for the zoo animals the LGB have let into their social circles.

Pandering to consumers is increasingly irrelevant in terms of increasing profits for the Western corporate sphere. Investment in LGBT-related marketing does not justify the risky, marginal profits associated with it. This has a downstream effect on the more low-level organization of Pride Parades and other events as corporate interest and funding become more scarce. Despite disliking Pride myself, I do not consider this a good development overall.

Didn't a year ago or so Blackrock scaled back some parts of the ESG weighting? I recall Larry Fink started whining companies weren't doing it the way he envisioned so he had to "fix it" or some nonsense like that. It could mean that companies can't print as much free money for increasing the sodomy quotient during June.

And normies like regular rainbows. Ive seen plenty of normal and even straight girls/women wear the more lowkey pride merch thats just solid white or black with a rainbow stripe on the sleeves and stuff like that.

Adding shit brown and pastels on top of it does not make for cute clothes, making it completely unwearable for anyone who isnt a kweer who makes it their life goal to look hideous 24/7

Yes, but it is complicated. In my experience, ESG in corporate has become significantly less 'consumer-facing'. Instead, it is much more entrenched internally and an integral part of the relationships between private and public organizations. Pleasing the consumer with ESG pandering is no longer prioritized in favor of appeasing clients, investors and regulators. What I meant with 'I do not consider this a good development overall' is that some parts of the corporate world are becoming increasingly comfortable with outright ignoring the consumer and somehow treating them even more like cattle. It does not matter if we put rainbows on it, the slop will still sell if we do not outright anger the consumers. Pride is no longer sold to your consumers but instead people who actually matter. The money is still good.
 
I have another suggestion on why Pride has been scaled back.

It gets kind of awkward when militant Muslims protest during pride month.
Even more so when Muslim meet pride parades.

Corporations start to realise only Redditors and troons buy gay shit. Disney stock plummeted twice to the point the main shareholder sold 1 billion worth of stock, corporations don't want to experience bud light debacle and go in the red.

Troons are visibly upset when they're not given attention.
