A little PL here: As a young gay Kiwi who was a boy scout, even then I never felt quite safe and the married troop leader always rubbed me the wrong way (heh). And that's aside from the time he told us he encountered a couple having sex in a car at the park one night. A red flag for sure looking back, but at the time I always chalked it up to being an a social boy in a rural area and just let it slide. Come to find out years later, the troop leader was caught in bed buggering an inmate at the correctional facility he worked for. His son ended up being gay too, shocker, but as far as I know he thankfully never abused any scouts.
