Damn Faust, you get two EGO before a 000. She better be completely busted when we get her.
They just teased The One Who Grips Faust on the twitter, which lines up with NRodion's III scene. Can't imagine anything lower than 000 for that. She'd also benefit from both NMeursault and Rodion's passives since she'd be NCorp.

What's the meta status effect right now? Bleed,Rupture,or Tremor?

Bleed is the strongest right now since it can kill an enemy on their attack before they clash or do damage, followed by rupture just because more damage is always better, and tremor isn't weak it's just more focused on dealing with high stagger resist enemies so as the game gets harder it'll get better especially against later bosses.

My personal gripe with Tremor is you have to burst it to take effect. Maybe I'm not using the right characters right now (or, like Para, it's simply not working), but that burst effect doesn't seem very commonplace.

Rupture is absolute king in Mirrors thanks to Battery and Talisman. Burn isn't dead in the water since it can stun enemy at start of battle, but Bleed not decaying until the enemy does an action completely catapults it above Burn. Welcome back to prenerf Bleed...

You could fight her unnerfed as well in the double-sword nodes in Mirrors, but granted you'd likely steamroll if it's Floor 2 or 3 with all the Gifts.

Bruh why, why must the next Faust be a furry.
I just want my cool lobotomy waifu as a 3⁰

It would be neat if they explored the huge Library more instead of focusing on forgettable melodrama and alluding to "book hunters" which sounds like its referencing an actual random battle mode that isn't in Ruina or was maybe cut at some point.

The story was always jumbled up anime bullshit anyway but found Angela to be fascinating since she was able to advance beyond being a smart AI to become human and summoned the Library into existence. Its implied there was only her, but with the resources that L-corp and the rest seem to have and SCP's roaming the streets, she seems more like a prototype for something much more dangerous.

But hey fuck all that when you have discordniggers spamming furfag shit and PM is just here to take a slice of that gachashit pie. That takes priority apparently.

Jihoon has said he wanted to write stories unrelated to the Library. It's why he began Distortion Detective. As for Limbus, they need money, they themselves said so. They'll also go back to doing non-live service games once they get some dosh, although they won't stop supporting Limbus too.

Its good that they are doing that and do recall that being said a few years ago with Distortion Detective and wonderlab. To me the city is not nearly as interesting as the Library because its like a perpetual City 17 arc with no uprising or payoff. Just a nihilistic acceptance of 1984 conditions and nothing can ever get better cuz reasons. Bugmen are truly a different breed.

The insane focus on melee combat makes the series another forgettable generic edgelord shonen and it kills any immersion when someone tries to stop the approaching eldritch horror that just instagibbed the city block by merely walking by them with a fucking sword or shiv instead of leaning further into the unique identity it had and getting into the metaphysical and allowing the audience to fill in the blanks. Which is why the SCP foundation it was an imitator of became so popular in the first place.

They did a documentary I recall where they said they made it big with Lcorp and were not in dire straits after that around the time of Ruina to where they even opened their own restaurant HamHamPangPang and held exhibits or something several times.

tbf, theres a pretty good in-universe explanation. Armor technology has advanced to the point where making ammunitions capable of defeating it is prohibitively expensive. People still use guns, its just rare. (Gameplay wise this is reflected in ranged cards in LoR being 1 use, and bullets being limited in LC)
Theres a section in LoR where its revealed that high grade clothing is just as protective as full mechanization.

Guns are also heavily regulated. Getting permission to manufacture guns and ammunition as an Atelier is extremely hard, and you need a license from the Head to use them.

I'd have to disagree i'd much prefer learning more about the city, head, and districts then whats going on with the Library right now, the librarinas, roland, and angela have pretty much finished their characters arc and are on the same page about fucking up the Head's shit.

While the city is full of potential with the still recent collapse of L corp and a bunch of other things going on which can be seized on for stories and games going forward, and the city is a shitty place espically with how powerful the head is it's never felt truly hopeless to me, and that's something i really enjoy compared the the SCP wiki constant world ending threats, nihilism, and torture porn, the city may be a bad place but the stories themselves are about hope and flawed people overcoming or at least mitigating their bad situation.

And for the Shonen complaints, the "Eldritch horrors" of Lobotomy corp aren't really eldritch being beyond human understanding, they are explicitly the byproducts of humanity and at least by the head's definition part of and are human. And with that as well as the story not being as bleak about overcoming said monsters it's more reasonable for people to be able to fight them and it's not like any random joe or protagonist type can do this, and honestly i'm all for the series cementing it's own identity instead of just being a Korean SCP imitator.

Abnormalities definitely qualify as eldritch. Just looking at them literally drive people insane in Lobotomy Corporation. Binah literally says the only reason she's sane is because she's part robot now.

Also lol lmao if you think Dante and Faust's story isn't going to involve going to the library to get the book of Lobotomy Corp + whatever else.
The entire purpose of the Limbus Company is to steal Lobotomy Corporation's singularity.

I didn't say i don't want to see anything about the library again ever, just that i'm more interested in the what's going on in the city, and while the sinners going to the library sounds interesting i don't think they can take on angela + 2 color fixers and limbus company would need to know where in the outskirts the library is located in order to assault it in the first place not to mention they literally can't get L corps singularity, that was the Bucket aka Carmen and shes gone into the light.

Dante and friends don't know that.

I'm 100% certain that after collecting enough golden bough (Pieces of Carmen) they are going to try attacking the library. Its the logical escalation of what's happening.

I don't think so. We have numerous enemies going for the Golden Boughs right now, which may include the Purple Tear herself. Additionally, the introduction of Aspects is pushing the series to another direction. The Golden Boughs are mainly seen as ways to change the world. There's no need for the Library in this story. Their stories are done, and while they may come back, I doubt they'll do so in Limbus.
