Probably will try to make the lower tier much better and not too ridiculous for meta, and probably make hard mode easy. Also finished Hard on third try. The final boss was the bull and wasn't worth the time killing it. The only way I could conceive on beating it is just raping it upon breaking the head, but after failing it I had 30 minutes slowly exhausting my resources killing it. The best advise I can give on hard mode is to avoid blunt enemies (much more annoying than the others) and not be afraid of damage because you have to get enough resources for the future.

Unlike WDon who does fuckloads of damage but needs some setup, this ones is more clash oriented with the duel skill helping things, though the low coin count can make it high risk.
Also wonder if it's the final character art or we'll finally see a Don ID that doesn't go through mind break.

So interesting changes with uptie 4. It feels like they gave alot of characters rupture support for no real reason lol.
Noteable changes I've seen:
R ish got super buffed, gets charge easier, mind whip is 8 cost and doesnt dump all energy now.
sunshower heath got a big buff but is probably still trash. gains sinking way easier, 2nd skill gets up to +5 coin power based on sanity.
N corp all got super buffed to synergize even better. N meur in particular had huge buffs. 3% max hp heal per nail + 6 aggro on all skills
Kuro Ryoshu got super buffed. Now does damage based on bleed count, probably does more damage than pierre now.
Blade Lineage sinclair got massively buffed. Easier to get poise, doesnt spend poise. Gets poise whenever someone else gets poise,

Congrats, I saw a video of Doncinq 1v1 raping a boss not getting hit once. Pretty fantastic and she might be able to compete with WDon for mirror dungeons for sheer utility. Do the new upties come with extra story scenes?

Looking at the uptie nothing really seems too strong to be worth the price. I hope the 0 identities got buffed to be usable for the next batch of content. Also is the aggro new? Haven't seen it on other characters, unless I'm confusing it it's only against humans which isn't very helpful.

A mechanic that I assume would probably be in the future is that dungeon enemies will retain their health after a wipe (or regenerate some percentage) so you could feed the others to the meatgrinder on the toughest bosses.

It's a field day for Ishmael. Uptie 4 fixes R Ish, letting her have a real charge economy at last, and Ardour Blossom Star is ludicrously broken when threadspun to 4, which helps every Ish ID but especially Liu.
 
Threadspinning to 4 is hype. Too bad it uses character shards as material.

Wish there was a way to convert shards from other characters to characters you actually like.
 
I didn't notice it until the end, but after the update, doing a single hard mirror dungeon one gives the same amount of weekly rewards as three regular normal ones. Getting 66 ego crates is really fun (though I didn't check if I got all 750 lunacy, I did get the same amount of starlight) and the going gets easier as I continue. This time I beat the statue who was a pain and I basically rushed the mariachi girl and then took my time with the other 2. Even succeeded the event with Grip Faust. Kinda wish the game told you from the start (or at least middle) what the boss would be so you could somewhat make a team to counter it.

My recommendation:
1. As always, getting HP restore gifts is a godsend.
2. The most important about early fights is to stockpile sins.
3. Events are not always worth it until you have a big team. You want as many 000 identities as you can.
4. Whole field Egos like Outis spine forest can stagger every enemey on first turn which is good when the battle is too risky.
5. However don't be a little bitch and take hits rather than waste ego.
6. Easiest fights are slash, pierce is also alright, blunt can be nightmares if you fall on inquisitors.

My bet was on the ego being the soda dispenser crayfish. Glad to see that I was right and that a friend owes me 5 bucks.
Also, it's a nice bait and switch. I am surprised to see that Sinclair and Ryoshu have an event ID and an event EGO from the chicken and this one.

Damn, this season became Ishmael redemption arc and she competes with Hong Lu on great IDs (and that skin tight diving gear...). Sinclair getting another 00 ID, maybe it will be less confusing than the last one. Also another fucking Ryoshu EGO. God damn Faust and Outis get no love.

So a question, is the event made so all the content is grindable? I missed the event last time.

Last time it was literally hell. You could grind all the content. At the very least the 2 stars were guaranteed. I don't remember if the 3 stars were since I pulled for them. But I'm fairly certain that they were grindable. Because if you got lucky and pulled the IDs before doing the story you could get a good boost for the event rewards, those damn head chicken crab plushies. I hope that the grind isn't as bad as the previous event.

It seems that this is the majority opinion in Korea as well. The Korean fanbase has been having many grievances recently, but the lack of a 'proper' female swimsuit ID caused them to go crazy. They got it into their heads that PM had become infected by the insane feminists from their country, this worsened when one of the CG artists were found to have agreed with male-child abortion posts back in 2018.

This is something they're handing out at PM's office.
People's dissatisfaction comes from the fact that Sinclair's new ID is more traditionally fanservicey than Ish's.
Some even believe that Sinclair's new choker-wearing ID (marked by a red circle) shows that PM wants to take down men. There are some people that think that Jihoon is no longer the director and was replaced by someone more feminist.
However, they do have actual grievances, but those are being overshadowed by the actual schizophrenia being shown.
These grievances are: Uptie 4's inconsistent upgrades and cost; Faust's nerfs; 'secret' buffs and nerfs after the growth rate change (likely incompetence from PM due to lack of play testing); and fear that the event will be the same grind fest as last time.
We can only see what happens now.
