ProjectMoon Megathread - Lobotomy Corporation, Library of Ruina, Limbus Company, etc.

So what is Rupture anyways? Bleed and Burn are self explanatory, and Sinking is like moral damage.
Ive always seen it as deteriorating their body and giving them shock thus making them susceptible to more damage, most rupture attacks are very hard hitting blunt attacks like rabbits meursalt or the new vampire hunter hong lu.
This is especially the case with the new rose hunter egos with hong lu's corrosion literally dragging the enemy across the ground with his horse

I see it as "armor piercing" attacks. Attacks that ignore the defenses of the enemy and deal "true damage" one way or the other. Like the LoR Warp corp units, which in Limbus do rupture damage (Mostly) instead of a random chance to deal 10 flat damage to HP or stagger. Or how the 7 in LoR had an affinity for "exploiting vulnerabilities", in that case via the weakness system, while in Limbus it's more rupture damage (And 7 Director Outis still retains weakness exploit passive).

Currently sitting in my office, migraine pounding like broken glass under my skin, email sitting in my inbox saying my request for time to digitalize files was denied and I’m going to have to rasterize 400 pages by hand and off schedule. Tiny desk Carmen keeps showing me doodles of what I’m going to distort into and none of them are flattering.

Yep. It’s canto release time. Hold the line kings.

And finished the last boss.
Plot wise it was great, it gelled pretty well with the book once all the reveals were sorted out. Guess Bari is at least 200 years old or can jump time and dimensions. I don't get how the sinners fit into the role of bloodfiends, but their date of birth are also something that seem to change according to the ID need (like Sinclair).
The new dungeon design is pretty good, though it did make me paranoid I wasn't stocked enough on egos. At least I'm getting used to take a loss of a teammate, the good thing is that it makes defensive IDs much more viable as a way to not have a bad situation escalate into a shitshow, the final boss was saved thanks to Ryoshu red eyes which is really fantastic ID to clash and recover.
The Sancho boss fight was probably the best, though fighting the three minibosses was also pretty good. Last boss fight was meh, great moments but it's the usual issue where you don't know what the fuck the game wants you to do so you can screw yourself up (in a half hour long fight) unless you guess that stuff like the horses are good for you and not something that if you don't immediately kill the boss will do a super attack (maybe). The absolute deluge of unbreakable bleed is annoying, I know it's there so that you can't lockdown a boss but god damnit I have no idea how I managed to do it on the second try. Or even if the game didn't just let me since I got through enough bullshit.
New music is cute, not to the level of previous canto but it will be stuck in my head for a week.

Guess now we wait for people to notice what changed in character voicelines.

How do you beat sancho?????
does anybody have any tips because i just cant figure it out
incase there is another sancho fight after, i am talking about the first sancho fight after the trio

Project Moon fan moment. Read nigga! READ! In a panic, I read the passives of those and it helped me mitigate a shitshow.

What you said about taking losses better rings true, I lost many a sinner on the last fight. But I was still able to recover after a bit of fumbling from letting 20●7 bleed build up on one or two sinners. Thank god I brought Peak-cliff to the fight, I don't know if I could have handled it otherwise.

How do you beat sancho?????
Other than winning clashes? Not really, I flew past that fight with a sinking team. Also, don't be afraid to use evade skills. I do remember prioriticing the order of my clashes to drain the resources that the boss uses. As in, it's a bad idea to clash with the skill that on clash loss drains resources before the boss has any resources to spend (This also applies to the last boss).
If not, I hope you brought enough resources for this man to eat through (Alongside healing EGOs)

Anyways, I will collect my thoughts on the Canto later and maybe post them here. But I can't wait for the La Manchaland Don Quixote - Don Quixote ID and the Sancho - Sinclair ID :optimistic: .

Aren't those usually crossed out and you need to fight multiple times to fill them up? That's my big issue with a lot of fights.

Also wondering how is base Don in the last fight, does her moveset or looks change or not.
How do you beat sancho?????

Sinking is always good, locks down the boss real nice, just be wary of some moves can be catastrophic if you lose the clash.
I am being filtered by Don Quixote. Please help.
One strategy I thought of afterwards is to start with a suicide team and then switch to your real team later in the fight when the amount of "fuck you massive bleed unbreakable coin" drops sharply. Just make sure the more defensive IDs come first.

The other strategy is just YOLO solo it with Lantern, Cinq or WARP since they have dodge/health recovery to offest bullshit.

I just used the a generic good stuff team and won on my second attempt when paying attention. But I'd recommend using using Pointilist Yi Sang with Wishing Cairn and Sunshower, Don's attacks are mostly pierce, sloth, and Pride which are all resisted by Pointillist Yi Sang when he has either used Wishing Cairn or Sunshower last. Additionally Wishing Cairn gives him a permanent 3 Blunt and Sloth protection while Sunshower gives the rest of the team 2 protection and a permanent 2 sanity regen.
REAP Ryoshu with Contempt Awe and Red Eyes(closed) is also good as while she's weak to pierce she can funnel health to low HP team mates while also healing herself, inflicting Bind with Red Eyes' passive, and Contempt Awe has good Sin resistances.
Almost any Mersault with Chains, Regret, and Capote is good.
Also Dodge skills, use them, you can't get hit with unbreakable coins if you dodge all of them. To that end Molar Ish is also good and she can also shit can Sanchso's speed using her own bind EGO.

Here's my team
Genericgoodstuff.jpg
The Dieci IDs are weak to her but Rodya has her sinking EGO and Hong Lu is a clash god. Ish should probably have been in the 7th place so she can take on Rodyas role when she dies and 9,10, and 11 had no thought put into them at all.

For those of you who are struggling with the final boss of the chapter (whom I will not name), here is the best advice I can give:

Evade evade evade evade evade those unbreakables. Other users in this thread are absolutely correct with that assessment. Let me say that, even if you are tempted to use the likes of W Don- I'm sure she'd manage well, but Cinq Don is (very atypically) better. Getting haste allows you to control the tempo of a fight with your slots, which is absolutely vital for an ez run. Also take her in solo- yes, entirely alone, to maximize her slots and the dungeon's benefits to Cinq Don specifically. The fodder rounds give you plenty of time to build her up safely so she won't die before the real fight. If your Cinq Don is decently leveled, this becomes trivial... even if you don't maximize support buffs, which you should be doing anyways on any solo run.

Boss thoughts

Definitely a fight won by EGOS. If you aren’t going to cheese it with something whacky, you need to have a fuck ton of Sinclair Lanterns or Faust Headless being thrown.

Suicide team at the start is definitely the way to go. I had built around bleed and they just got whacked

Seems easier to build for losses than run dodge. Once you hit ponies you should be in the clear and you can burst them with Don Soup. Just be sure to swap egos to get rid of the effect

Whoever mentioned Warp Don being alright, I would say no. It’s too easy to trigger Sinking depression or whatever and you NEED coins. With Soup passive being shit and Headless being a massive, Spammable, giant beat stick you are best off avoiding gloom res

I beat the fight with a bunch of odd jobs because team bleed got fucked. Most of them were level 45. Shoutout to Swat Rodya for the paralysis spam.
