This is how I pronounce them:

Simon-la

Heather Ig-lee-see-us

In-nos

Punk Chris

Slaw-wheel Rayum

Simonla - Si-mone-la

Heather Iglesias - Heather In-glay-see-es

Inos - In-nos

Reldnahc Notsew Naitsirhc - Reld-nak Not-So Nate-serk

Slaweel Ryam - Sla-wheel Ry-am

That's how I say them in my head, and I'm pretty sure the audiobooks - I'm sorry VIDEObooks - can confirm.

Simon(As in the common name) is how Chris pronounced the first part of Simonla's name it(As he's never seen Gurren Lagann and wouldn't know that the character's name was See-moan). While also making Simonla he mistakened Simonchu's goggles for extra eyelids, cape for a shell, and Core Drill pendant for a shark-tooth necklace.

I'll have to look how he pronounced the others because how he pronounces them is what's canon (Much like how he says Rose-chu and not Rose-a-chu)

I pronounce Natesirhc like
Nate-SIR-c
Dunno about the other parts of his name though

From the Chris-narrated videobooks:

Simonla: Sigh-mon-lah
Zapina: Zah-pee-nah
Megagi: Mah-gosh-shi (I guess this is a Japanese pronunciation? I've been saying it totally wrong)
Reldnahc Notsew Naitsirhc: Reld-knock Not-so Nate-cirk (as in the first syllable of circle)
Reldnahc Ha-Taque Sonichu: Reld-knock Hay-tock Sonichu
Slaweel Ryam - Slah-wheel Rye-um

Yeah, I've been saying it that way, too. Like I said, maybe it's a Japanese pronunciation? Megan presumably made up the name and was a huge weeaboo, but it's odd Chris would stick to that a decade later when he'd already staked claim to the skunk itself.

I've always wondered how you pronounced "JULAY!"

Like, the first syllable is obvious. A short "jew" or "joo." The second, though? I enjoy placing the emphasis on it but can't decide between the long or short for of "A."

LAY seems the most common, but LIE (as in telling a lie) is more in line with Chris' speech impediments, southern accent, and a thick tongue retardos tend to have.

Simonla: See-moan-la
Heather Iglesias: heh-thur Igg-less-ee-uh
Inos: ee-nos
Reldnahc Notsew Naitsirhc: reld-neck not-sue nate-sir-c
Slaweel Ryam: slaw-wheel ry-ah (silent m)

EDIT: At least, that's how I say them. No idea about OPL's pronunciation.

Simonla: szi-meaux-n'llugh

Heather Iglesias: Heh-thurr Eeeehn-guh-lesh-yass

Inos: Eeeeeee-nozz

Reldnahc Notsew Naitsirhc: ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn

Slaweel Ryam: Mary Lee Walsh

How is this a question? It's spelled that way because of how Chris says it. Haven't you seen For Julie's Eyes Only?

Why was this thread from 7 years ago necro’d?
Also- It’s literally JULAY

It took me longer than it should to realize CWC was meant to be read as “quick.”

So I always read CWCville as “See-Dubya-See-ville”.

The first Chan media I consumed was the DStecks reviews. I was more listening to it than watching it. I kept wondering what the fuck "Quick Cola" and "Quickville" and every other "Quick" was.
