Ah, Looks like I found another case of an absolute retard of an adult harassing an innocent child. Any of you know about the Pro Shipper who made a 500 page google doc on a 13 year old kid? They went as far as to include the child's address and other personal informations, And sent it out to their own followers/fans. After receiving backlash, And going into hiding (i'd say for about a year to a few months) they returned with their own video and their piss poor attempts at defending themself. The cause of all this was supposedly the child repeatedly voicing their concerns and discomfort towards the adult's sexualization of an underage character (character is 13 to 14), The adult took offense to this. There had seemed to be some further banter through discord between the two, The adult being the one to commence it, of course. (I'll look for the screen shots later). In the messages, However, The adult accused the child of also being a pedophile for 'self - shipping' their 'oc' with said character.

Self - shipping; The act of shipping oneself with a fictional being.
Oc; An Original Character (a term used for characters created for an author's own amusements/intentions). An example - Harry Potter is J.K Rowling's Original Character.

Both the child and original character were of the same age of said cartoon character, Making the pairing non - pedophelic at all.

There are some people who just don't have the instinctive incest aversion that the majority of humans have. For average folks with this condition, society's incest taboo serves the purpose well enough, so they behave normally.

Autists, on the other hand ... generally don't notice or understand society's rules. Or if they do, they conform only in real life. Online, though, the autism shines through.

1. The concepts of pro and anti encompass a wide variety of different things and also Twitter is a hellscape so people Ship of Theseus everything, taking fairly innocuous comments and extrapolating a whole nonsensical narrative out of them. Many people on either side of The Discourse actually agree on some things, but because of semantics they label themselves differently and throw dogshit at each other.
2. Both sides engage in harassment campaigns.
3. Many of the things pinned on antis (such as various suicides and the needle cookie incident) either had nothing to do with shipping wars and were retrofitted to the discourse, or were completely faked. People act all sanctimonious because they think there's an actual body count when there really isn't, and if there is it's a lot lower than they think.
4. Antis watch too many kids shows, proshippers treat any and all criticism of the things they like as death threats or whatever.
5. Go outside

On a related note, Sarah Z deactivated her Twitter before uploading the video, which is probably the most sensible thing to do. She ended up on the trending tab for a bit, and just like what happens with literally any video that's over 15 minutes long, there were people on Twitter getting mad over things that she never even said, which is pretty funny.

That said, going "I'm an adult who pays my bills and doesn't get involved in this shit"...at the beginning of a video nearly 2 hours long about shipping discourse is hypocritical in the most pretentious way. Unless she was trying to be ironic on purpose, in which case...still pretentious.
