Thousands of demonstrators gathered in the East German town of Riesa on Saturday in a bid to blockade the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party congress.

Protesters chanting “no to Nazis” blocked roads in the town, preventing many of the party’s 600 delegates from reaching the convention venue and ultimately delaying the kick-off of the proceedings. Police estimate some 10,000 demonstrators will be in Riesa over the course of the weekend.

Delegates attending the two-day summit are expected to formally nominate party co-leader Alice Weidel as their candidate for chancellor in the snap federal elections scheduled for Feb. 23.

Delegates are also poised to give final approval to the AfD’s campaign manifesto. The draft version of the text advocates tougher immigration policies and Germany’s exit from the euro.

The AfD is currently polling in second place, with around 20 percent of voters projected to back the policy. Weidel this week received the endorsement of tech mogul Elon Musk, who held a live chat with her on X in which he said that voting for the far-right party was the only way to “save Germany.”

Although she may secure her party’s nomination this weekend, Weidel has no real possibility of becoming chancellor or being part of the next government. Friedrich Merz, whose center-right Christian Democratic Union (CDU) is leading in the polls, is most likely to succeed Olaf Scholz, the beleaguered center-left incumbent.

Merz has ruled out any sort of collaboration with the far-right group, as have all the rest of the parties expected to secure seats in the Bundestag.

As if AfD were actually the evil nazis they imagine them to be. Protest more fags, as if that will do anything. Hope you get ran over by your favored retarded imports.
The average Ahmed is many times more “conservative” than the AFD, which would have been nearly centrist in the 1990s. If these protestors actually understood the people they are advocating for, they would deport every sandnigger to Syria where they belong.

However, the German government and media have thoroughly convinced them that they are on the side of liberty, equity, and equality. After sacrificing their democracy on the alter of Islam, they will gladly accept a caliphate, gleefully accepting their beheading as punishment for violating Shariah law. They will at least die proud of their tolerance.

May the Christian God protect you, Germans. You certainly need Him at this time.

Merz has ruled out any sort of collaboration with the far-right group, as have all the rest of the parties expected to secure seats in the Bundestag.

If the afD gets enough seats, the CDU will either be forced into a coalition with the far left or with the other main party in Germany. The result of such a coalition would to totally discredit either the CDU or both main parties. Neither of the major parties in Germany is offering any solution to the growing economic crisis in Germany.

If the court bans the afD (the opposition) before or after the election, it will undermine any credibility the new government will have.

So were these protestors all chanting in english? just wondering because there's been this weird astroturfed protest thing of white people speaking in english with english signs showing up in foreign countries to protest shit claiming nazis or transphobia or some shit like that the last 6 years and it feels really astroturfed and glowy every time it happens. There was that big one in Japan a while back that showed me just how deep the californian problem seems to run. That and the weird shit witht he floyd protests where they turned into "burn down the whole city" and eachtime they did that you saw the same exact fucking people in each one like the drum guy who somehow was flying cross country to each one within the span of a few hours.

Shoulda done the folowing to get them to do what they wanted:
NOOOOO MORE NAZIS
NOOOOOO MORECARDS!
NOOOOOOOOOO MORE FORTNITE!

Did they have whiny shrill american sounding voices? You know the kind by now if you've seen like anything the last decade from america lmao.

So fervent are their convictions that they wear masks to hide their identities while they fight Nazis.

Same thing with the manufactured riots in Hong Kong. English slogans and posters, in a nation where maybe 5 percent of the population even speak the language.
And while most Germans know English, it makes little sense in this case either...just let's you know who's behind it, and that the proclaimed anti-racists are really anti-german, or rather, anti-white in general.

These "protests" are all astroturfed. They are not being done as actual events or actual protests. They are staged for the photo ops and cooperative media placement both in Germany and around the world. These "protests" are to show how "unpopular" the afD is in Germany, to put the nazi mark on the afD in the public mind and to provide mental reinforcement among the sheep if or when the decision is made to ban the party entirely.

The number of protestors is always falsely reported to be massive when it is not. Its no different than in the US when what are actually tiny protests over Gaza are magnified by the media into being some sort of popular mass movement.

It goes along with any other number of stunts or public relations events in Germany right now that all share the message that the german people all hate the afD, that the afD are nazis and it is the will of the people that the party be banned before the next election.
