Guttermouth is my third favorite band. I've seen these guys live in this shitty little dive bar and got to meet Mark, the singer. It was the best live show I've ever been to.

I googled the link from his post. Seven years ago someone on reddit posted the same link. Could've guessed from his message (What's more punk than GG Allin?)

Saw Pennywise at a festival on Saturday. They were okay, not great, but pretty good. They played the songs I knew they would - plus a LOT of covers. Felt like a very short set. which wa sa let down because I've been a fan since I was 13. Goldfinger came on after them and were a lot better, which was a surprise because I always thought they were just a one song band.
KF-related punk story I know: The Offspring released Come Out and Play in 1994, and Mike Palm from Agent Orange tried to get a cent per record from them because the riff sounds like the riff from Bloodstains. The Vandals release the song I linked making fun of Palm for it, but The Vandals were on Nitro Records, owned by Dexter Holland from The Offspring. Cringe all round.
 
I still listen to The Offspring on occasion. Ignition & Smash, that's about it. The best punk will be playing at your local anarchist co-op. If you can bear the commie-nazism inevitably infecting the local scene...I personally can not, but I don't have the time either.
