And just when I thought to myself that its been a while that I let the fever dream of code ment/nonepiece wash over me, I come back to see this. Quite sad, but at least the archive seems to be somewhat complete enough.
Just thinking back to the code ment scene with that one dude on the merry-go-round trying to have his bad guy speech makes me crack up a bit. Its so simple and goofy but very effective.

I've done these sort of edits before because I thought they were fun. Purps's editing tricks aren't too crazy, and by the time he gets better at it, the episodes are already in HD. So, I don't think it'll be too hard.

I've been looking a lot into this (considering I've taken it upon myself to serve as caretaker for the youtube archive), and I'm almost certain this isn't him. It's not the same as the old account, that's still down. Plus there's been an update on his ko-fi that provides a bit more clarity to the situation. Even if he did post that in a mental haze cause by illness, I think he would have deleted the post and the account rather than leaving it there.

Things have happened behind the scenes. I'm not at liberty to say much. But, I can firmly confirm that this whole situation was, in-fact, an accident. Keep an eye on the archive channel, there will be an update video released tomorrow after I track down and upload the last of his content today.

It's the funniest outcome for him getting deleted from the Internet tbh. Feels right in his wheelhouse to do something like that, as if CodeMENT-Suzaku piloted his brain for a second.

There's an email address at the bottom of that image. I tried it out. I wanna leave the rest for the update video. But, I'll say, at this moment, while I don't know if anything will or won't continue, you will hear his voice again at least once.

So, the news is that I'm going to be interviewing purps for the archive channel, there's a chance Code MENT continues on the new channel. I know that the audio for Code MENT episode 19 is recorded. But, understandably, loosing a channel with 100s of thousands of subscribers and moving to one with 250 is a huge kick in the dick, so I'm not promising anything.

You're really going above and beyond for this archive channel, plus providing updates from Purps himself. Words can only do so much, but jesus christ, thanks my dude.
 
The video player on KF kinda sucks. So, I imagine it'll be a stuttery mess here. But, here's a progress report on Episode 1 Remastered. I'm having a little difficulty scheduling the interview. But, I'll see what I can do.
