  • New industry.
  • Massive monopoly forms.
  • Create massive restrictions.
  • Effectively kill the previous market cycle and freeze the power structure.
  • The Rockerfellers, Morgans, Rothschilds, Du-Ponts will never not be rich again.

Why would it be any different.

They've repeatedly proven themselves to be manipulative ideologues & injurious to Democracy.
They must be restricted. I don't like the old money status quo any more than you do but if the govt doesn't put the reins on silicon valley soon the world will suffer. They've already been guilty of ample meddling in the news cycle & elections. They are not a superior replacement to the old money hierarchy and seem to know very little about human nature and governance.
The ultimate minority that tech will one day empower is the Individual. These people seek to slow that process and remain the middlemen for as long as possible. The Elon Musks of the world will become obsolete if they themselves achieve their vision of high tech at street level.

Their power and influence must be excised at some point.

Considering they can obviously and openly decide what is reality and what is not, there should be some regulation on them. The problem is not that their owners are rich, the problem is that they control an essential infrastructure and they can do anything with it. If an idea is not allowed on a few platforms they own, then it could possibly be non-existent.

How would unrestricted big tech hurt some of their biggest investors?
Less restrictions, more fuck-ups. Restrictions also fuck over smaller business.

Rockerfeller was only as successful as he was because he picked smart CEO's. You don't need those when the economy is baby-proofed.

Restrictions are generally bad for business and don't tend to hurt the big guys in the first place, they reinforce monopolies because new smaller competitors can't afford to keep up with the restrictions while the bigger ones can.

Also you're fighting against the big guys who will be the ones actually making the decisions on what restrictions will pass and the ones that won't. That's the reality of it.
Leave them be, unrestrict the fuckers, they'll kill themselves eventually anyway.

Also, as if the Old Money didn't fuck over democracy and weren't corrupt.

The only difference when you restrict them is that their abuses of democracy become government-approved which is a far more dangerous precedent.

The obvious solution to this is to send in a CIA deathsquad whenever a family becomes rich enough to influence federal politics, DUH.

Why would they kill their own friends? lol
The main purprose of a republic is that the rich and powerful can handle things without having to kill each other every few years over some turf here and there.

I don't care what you like because your kind will be erased off the internet soon and I can sleep soundly knowing that you were literally asking for it.
Watch as that doesn't happen, libtard. I already have Shitnet and Trumpzilla at 60% optimal capacity.
