the overwhelming majority of people with philias do not like the idea of acting upon these fantasies in real life - for example a lot of paedophiles despise themselves for even thinking of it, and often refuse to be near children for their safety. unfortunately its hard for people to find therapists willing to deal with these things, as they fear being ostracized and cast out with no help at all, so they turn to shota/lolicon. i don't actually see a problem with this, as it is not real, and in the majority of cases, is plenty to help keep the person on the straight and narrow. if a paedophile actively harms children (either through porn or otherwise) they are looked down upon by people who do actually understand that fantasy =/= reality. kind of how jeffrey dahmer isnt representative of all homosexuals.

Then consider; "My friends are too scared to come forward". "We were scarred by his behavior".

Relatively good and 'tame' looking fetish art, that is to say not hardcore scat and gore, was vile enough to scar these babies for life. But not enough that they'd immediately block him. Hmm.

Also, Pyro literally couldn't give less of a shit about KF, let alone coming here to defend himself. We've seen tens of people arguably more popular with mature audiences than Pyro just ignore the drama for a month and come back and continue to have fans. A girl who came out and said she raped a minor in the Smash scene still isn't cancelled. The guy who fucked over Lilypichu is straight back to Twitch top 30 a year later.

Pyro is the mildest case with least evidence and people still entertain him feeling any kind of repercussions.

I dunno man. Pyro is pretty based. You will be suprised what small little shit can snowball into a cancel culture.

You say it's too early and not enough evidence to convict him of stuff like this and would want to call it off. I say there's plenty to go around and give it time for the thread to grasp. Could take a bit, but kick back and watch the show man. It could be fun.

There are a lot of people who still think that first Imgur album is the only evidence that's been put forward. If you look at Pyrocynical's latest video's comments, while a few are talking about the accusations, most seem not to be, unlike the case with, say, ProJared, where his comments became a shitstorm with those allegations were made. Maybe it is because they took in 2019, not in the annus horribilis of the 21st century.

Unless more accusers come out of the woodwork, his best course of action is shut the goddamn piehole and let it die on it own.

There's a difference between there being a few bad actors here and there, and all the most prevalent furries on the internet either being exposed for doing illegal shit or just being bottom-of-the-barrel degenerates. This just leads people to believe that the community is chock full of the same type of degenerates, they just haven't been exposed because they aren't super visible on the internet. Whether or not that's the case, it's what people will assume.

I feel like the only solid way to verify that the deleted user's ID is pyro's (NOT the incorrect one posted in the original callout thread by ivory, he completely discredited himself doing that and it's probably why it hasn't even trended) is if a notable youtuber that was in pyro's old discord from 2017 shows his deleted profile's ID from old DMs.

Unless they also made new accounts, they should at least have a DM log from pyro's old account in addition to a new one if they're still friends and can either verify or refute it. Unfortunately this is a bit of a waiting game since youtube videos covering the allegations are only now starting to pick up traction (a couple have 100k+ views). It also would require them to be personally involved, and I have always gotten the impression that commentary youtubers have no qualms leaving one another to the wolves.
