I think it's safe to say that Ivory hasn't really made a dent in Pyro's popularity, the video seems to be doing just as good as most of his recent videos

I knew because she was featured in some videos where they played games together like Overwatch back in 2017, but only as "Pyro's girlfriend named Hyojin". Didn't know she was an animator/artist until Slazo drama tho, but I remember plenty of comments complaining about Hyojin's loud hyena laugh being grating.
Im impressed Ivory hasn't just DFE'd like Chey did when Slazo responded.

Not sure why Tom is taking Ivory's side, considering the mess he had on twitter (Tom didn't even include the aftermath of Ivory's tweets of him saying "Not going to apologize" and "There's no need to show proof to strangers" in the video).

From how I see it, main goal of his video was to argue that the whole situation was not as clear cut as that of slazo’s, james charles’s and projared’s cancelling + subsequent redemption, given how many people are willing to assume that Pyro’s reddit response absolves him of any wrongdoing. Tom also called out how some of other channels covering the topic, particularly guys like Prison Mate Luke, did a poor job at it.

Yeah while the initial accusations where overblown Pyro is still a creep. I hope with was a wake up call for Pyro to clean up his act but being a furry who knows how he still is behind closed doors. The issue here was less of a clear cut Pyro creeping on kid but more of a teen getting involved in a community and slowly being brought into degen shit. While I think putting the blame solely on Pyro is dumb when the kid was shown to be engaging in these kind of dms before and after pyro, the matter still stands that Pyro, in the best case scenario, did not maintain the nessicary precautions when conversing with a rando online. Which still isn't a good look even if it isn't as bad as soliciting nudes from a kid.

I think commentary videos have lost ALOT their spark in recent years. Doesn't help with ppl like H3H3, Leafy, etc turning into egomaniacs. It used to be this neat thing to put your opinion out there with gameplay playing in the background and vaperwave music transitions. Especially when said commentator makes good points. You could've easily got wrecked if you criticized big youtubers by their garbage fanbase.
Now, everyone spewing out generalized garbage while watching other communities like vultures.
Because none of these commentary people have jobs.
They frequently upload because they're either teens/young adults still living with their parents or they're jobless on their own. These nitwits think Youtube is a reliable day job.. That's why when a video gets demonetized, they act like they're gonna be homeless in 5 seconds. Commentators are like the modern day TMZ.....And they're just as competent as TMZ too.
They breathe drama.
Hell even Critical doesn't make commentary videos as much anymore because even he got fuckin stick of it....
All I gotta say is that I have massive respect for youtubers who DON'T talk about the latest shit that washed up on the beach.

I remember not liking turkey tom for whatever reason, maybe thinking they were too centrist or would suck up to established youtubers, but I've been hard agreeing with a lot of their videos lately.
The crazy thing to me is that this pyro guy can be about as open as you can with your degenerate fetish and has suffered no consequences so far. It's not like he's got a mild perversion like Tarantino, but actually into horrific stuff that most sane people will be actively repulsed by. I wonder how far he could take it, could he change his avatars to some crop of these weird obese drawings? Joke about it in videos? Is there a limit to how open you can be about your degeneracy before you start to push away your audience? I guess zoomers and younger millennials are just so inundated with pornography from such an early age that it doesn't even register with their disgust reflex anymore.
Commentary videos have just gotten incredibly stale. They are already extremely derivative in the fact that they're just reacting and commenting on someone else's work or what someone else did and can get as stupid as people commentating over other people's comments. Only so long stuff like that can stay popular and relevant when you have literally tens of thousands of people all trying to do the same thing in the exact same way. To be fair, Ivory is the one who ratted out Pyro’s fetishes that weren’t intended for the public to see.
I used to be a fan of Pyro for years. Pyro has been open about liking anthro/furry stuff for years. But he’s never talked about it on videos.
