I see take regurgitated so much by Pyro's fans. I don't see how Pyro being such a massive degenerate that he uses his underage fans to fuel his porn addiction is that much better then being a pedophile. In either case he used a minor to get sexual gratification and then covered it up by getting his drone fans to attack his critics. I hate how much blatant degeneracy and porn addiction have been normalized online. Especially since Pyro is downplaying blatantly predatory behavior to his young fans.

yeah imma disregard your opinion too. But jokes aside, people just aren't perfect. Gotta live with it. If he's your guy just let him prove this isn't a routine occurrence for him and that he's changed through actions that don't entail him throwing himself to the wolves.

Tbh, ive stopped caring about this whole thing already

unless keemstar proves pyro was sexual with the french girl (which he himself confirmes didnt happend in tommyc's show a few days ago)
this is a dead story, a dead issue, and its not going to go anywhere. all he confirmed was pyro and her were e-dating but it never went anywhere and ended in those screensots in 2016 (which is why he hasnt released the interview, despite him going on twitter earlier today to complain about nothing to make a video about)

Pyro is now forgiven by the community at large, and tom, with his reputation containing a large blemish, will walk away with nothing more than a (temporary) bleeding wound and an entire community hating his guts.

Pyro's fans obviously don't care about this scandal but I have a feeling he won't live this down. Any time he criticizes anyone they can just say "At least I don't want to have anal with a sixteen year old boy."

yeah pretty much this for the most part. Keem sticking his nose in kinda turned this from "Pyro possibly grooming someone" to him trying to get back at him for some beef that they had. Which is kinda sad really. Especially with DeOreo suggesting that this situation needs a deep dive six months from now it's kinda just a thing that's gonna fade out for the moment.

As much as I like Tom he did make a couple of mistakes in his response that was picked to shreds. Mainly the speculation aspect of the UK Meetup, and the "I didn't say definitively one way or the other" when his document was titled Proving Pyro's guilt. It made something seem more definitive than what he probably wanted to put out. Though I don't know I'm not in the guy's head.
 
I think this whole situation would have gone over a lot smoother and hit Pyro a lot harder if Tom didn't seem so vindictive. Now, I'm not saying that he was vindictive, but in situations like these how someone is perceived by an audience often has a much bigger effect on the response they get rather than their actual intentions. Tom's videos made it seem like he had a personal beef with Pyro, rather than that he had genuine concerns that Pyro may abuse his position of power in the future in order to mistreat his fans. By now the general YouTube audience has grown used to the perpetual cycle of drama wars and shit flinging waged by creators on a near-weekly basis.

If you are going to try to expose the misgivings of a YouTuber with 4+ million subscribers, you are going to need an ironclad argument. Or at least something solid and hard-hitting. As fucked up as it is, most people who regularly watch YouTube have grown numb to accusations of pedophilia. Hell, I can name at least 6 YouTubers who were accused of diddling kids this year alone. Tom should have waited longer to make his video. I understand the argument as to why he had to make it as soon as he did, the fear is that while Tom was waiting to make the video, Pyro could be continuing to engage in the same perverted behaviors, but I would argue that more damage was done by releasing the video prematurely. Releasing the first video while Ivory was still struggling to get his story straight was definitely a bad move right off the bat. Dropping a video while more details were still emerging about the whole situation with Ivory gave Pyro just enough wiggle room to squeeze himself into the realm of plausible deniability and made Tom look biased towards Ivory when certain parts of his story were shown to be untrue, even if the whole situation still paints Pyro as a disgusting pervert, by focusing on the parts that Tom got incorrect, it gives Pyro enough wiggle room to attempt to convince his fans that Tom is a liar by nitpicking the parts he got wrong.

The second thing I think he did incorrectly was dropping an "expose document" right on the heels of the autistic document wars between Fedmyster and Pokimane. This once again made it seem like this was Tom just trying to "win" autistic internet beef rather than bring up genuine concerns he had with Pyrocynical's behavior and his trustworthiness in the position of power which he occupies. Once again this document was well written but it was released at a terrible time. Not only was it released at a bad time, but Tom also rushed to get it out so quickly that it once again had just enough mistakes for Pyrocynical to focus on those mistakes in an attempt to make Tom look disingenuous.

Releasing 3 different videos on the subject and an expose document in the period of a month was definitely a mistake on Turkey Tom's part and definitely severely inhibited the damage he could do to a creator like Pyrocynical. Releasing an "okay" expose video in order to get it out as soon as possible will usually end up backfiring pretty hard if you are a smaller creator attempting to take on a much larger one. Turkey Tom is definitely paying the price in subscriber loss for his choice. Unfortunately in a situation like this, I think that Nicholas DeOreo had the right idea. In order to do real and lasting damage to a creator of Pyrocynical's size when you are a relatively small Channel like Turkey Tom's, you need an ironclad argument. The correct course of action would have been to wait a few months until all the dust had settled and everybody had gotten their stories straight and then collected all of the evidence in order to build a solid and irrefutable case against him in a well researched and put together video. Maybe collab with a few other creators and get interviews with the alleged victims. I think Tom had good intentions, but the way in which he went about trying to expose Pyrocynical's behavior essentially ensured that this whole situation will go down in the mind of most viewers as "just more useless petty drama between commentary YouTubers"

I'm sure that this is common sense. But the trooning out femboys don't have that. Pyros a predator. God if only Chris Hansen wasn't an idiot, writing checks his ass couldn't cash. An episode on his show with pyro is something I would have looked forward to.

I think it's safe to say that this whole situation was handles absolutely horrifically by everyone involved the point where it rivals if not topples the poor handling or Zaptie's and Slazo's past controversies and it's because of this poor handling that Any wrongdoing pyro has done that resurfaces or any that has will probably be shrugged of by his fanbase and the community seeing as from what I can tell from the like to dislike ratio he is considered forgiven or cleared of any wrongdoing by most of the community and unless something even worse comes out then it will probably stay that way,

This whole controversy should serve as a lesson/case study on what not to do with allegations or controversies such as these and why you should always go to the authorities first rather than the internet.

To be fair, this is the one time I get the accuser not going to the police. Ivory is 19 and lives in the US, while pyro is in the UK and international lawsuits are stupidly expensive. When you have two people who live in the same state it starts to get really fucking dumb, though. Also going to the police doesn't give you e-clout, so.

Yeah I probably should have taken the different countries into account sorry about that.

You could argue However that rather than going for a lawsuit since he does not have that kind of money that he could just alert the appropriate authorities overseas to his behavior so if they ever get the time to investigate they could do so international lawsuits are expensive but an E-mail or two full of evidence is free.

Edit: If Ivory really did do this for Clout (it does not matter if they did or not, what Pyro did was wrong regardless) it didn't really work because now they are going to have a metric Fuck tonne of rabid Pryo fans harassing them and their family all over the internet until they leave it all together and I think we all know that even If Pyro tells his fans not to do that under any circumstances they they still will because that's how the internet works, Once the accused is cleared of all wrongdoing/redeemed whether warranted or not the accuser will be Eviscerated.
