there's this thing called public interest, try to prosecute Pyro and see if it works out. If we all got prosecuted for practically everything we did wrong you'd all be in jail. Piracy, etc. You need to convince the people funding the case that the person in question is actually a criminal aka threat to society.

I just don't see it. The thing with Pyro is that you can read a person's proclivities and susceptibility to doing bad shit based off of their personal interests. He isn't into loli or shota or anything of that ire and I think he can live without doing anything like this in future. 16 is legal on that pissstained isle and both of them were pretty young, albeit not within direct earshot of each other. Tbh if they went over and banged it wouldn't have even been illegal, albeit clearly islamic content in it's own right.

Thing is, what still annoys me is that I sort of expected Pyro to get the same treatment that others would get given his situation, but so many of his fans seem bent on reducing what he did further and further until it's just "lol, who cares" and there are plenty of commentary channels following suit (though to less of an extreme). I don't know, there are plenty of examples of much worse people on the platform and honestly I think the only reason even give a shit still is that he is a Youtuber (which is fair, considering he puts himself out there), but you'd think predatory behavior would kinda be treated with a bit more consistently.

It sucks because it's gotten to the point that I am more annoyed with Pyro's fanatic defenders rather then Pyro himself, they really don't seem to care about anything but pretending this never happened. Actually, is there examples of Youtubers doing similar stuff and still maintaining a fan base (excluding MiniLad, already know about that one)? I ask because I wouldn't exactly be suprised, but given how many crusader-like commentary channels and predator hunter type content exists, you'd think it wouldn't be the case.
