Did i say at one point that Chris could get fooled by someone wearing a Megan Schroder Halloween mask? I was being too generous. He could get fooled by a 70 year old black man wearing a tshirt that says "Hi! I'm Megan Schroder!" on it.

Far as I'm concerned, let Fatty avalanche down crazy mountain. I don't endorse this guy but I'm tired of seeing Fatty turn up his nose at niceness. I'm just going to get some popcorn and be a spectator to this one.

Assuming that you can get him to forward you the emails that's a great idea. It's very easy to get the headers from Gmail. I haven't done much with the other providers. It's definitely worth a shot though.

I believe that's about what 98% of the forum members are doing. This is probably the first time in a while that I really don't know how things will end up. It's like watching Breaking Bad over again, with less meth and more autism.

From the looks of it, he only uses his Apple devices which do not contain an option to view email headers (because why would someone on an iThing want to do something technical? :ween: ). Gmail headers conceal origin IPs, but other services do not. If the perpetrator was trying to appear authentic, they may have used something like Yahoo or Hotmail which does include the X-Originating-IP.

So there's three big conditionals:
1. Chris plays along.
2. Chris can figure out how to find the email headers. I'll try to cover my bases here but there's only so much I can do.
3. Origin IP is included at all.
 
It took us about 2 seconds to see what this really was. It'll take Chris about 3 months. That train is just beginning to chug up to the top of the mountain.
 
I can't help but feel he's going to take this as a cue to try and go on some bizarre revenge mission. Regardless, this isn't going to end well...though it is likely to end in schadenfreude.

I also feel like any attempt to contact him warning him that the e-mail was the work of a troll is going to be flipped around in his mind and provide him with proof of its authenticity. If this is Megan, then of course the trolls are going to try and keep him from reuniting with his one true love.

Why bother? Like Alec has suggested, I'm just going to be a spectator in all of this. Chris' own sheer arrogance, ego, and hatred will be his downfall, and I see no reason in intervening, unless Megan suggests that Chris physically harms himself or do something dangerous.
 
Nah, it's definitely Megan. I'd recognize her German Warfare style anywhere.

This will just make him smugger, thinking that if he rants enough, he can get anyone to answer his bullshit demands.

I'm surprised "Megan" Didn't contact him sooner the way he's been ranting lately. We don't need YouTube videos though. Facebook proves he's still as crazy as ever.
 
For a ween to convince Chris that they are actually Megan is like an aspiring stage actress landing the role of "Maria" in "West Side Story", except that WSS is kinda good, and nobody in it at any point reveals themselves to be Batman.
