Hey @Marvin how hardball can we do these questions? I'm sure we can press him a bit on certain topics but how do we prevent a " no comment" from chris?
Where seems to be that sweetspot of actual good questions that we want, but not enough to make chris too angry to dismiss it?

I usually start off by describing why the issue/question is important and legitimate. And then keep my question to the point.

So with my question about cleaning up Sonichu's copyright issue, I said that (paraphrasing here) "professionally publishing a comic is hard work, you need to consult lawyers, you might need to clean up stuff because of copyright issues". It's general enough that Chris can't really dispute it.

If you bring up a reasonable concern, Chris will be reasonable in response and give answering your question a try.

@Marvin why are you rating any question asking Chris about his future :dumb:? As you seem to have accepted the gatekeeper mantle for this, I'm curious. I didn't even reference Barb being dead. I genuinely want to know what he thinks he would do if even the slightest change happened to his welfare benefits, as it could throw his life into chaos.

I don't think Chris was complaining about people bringing up Barb being dead. It seemed to me that he was complaining about people probing into what he plans to do when she dies, and I think asking questions about the tugboat sinking falls into that category.

He answered it once yesterday, and the impression that I got (through his confused mumbling) was that Barb has kind of been discussing with Chris what he should do when she kicks the bucket. But I didn't get the impression that it was particularly exhaustive. It certainly won't be anything like what Bob would set up, had he been the one still with us today.

Edit: In like a page or two, I think I'll lock this thread to curate questions. Assuming Chris doesn't bail on this idea, I think we'll open the thread for a period each week. If I leave it open all the time, we'll just get a long ass backlog of questions that'll never get answered.

Oh and Chris would do ever consider coloring the backgrounds of Sonichu in pencil but keeping the characters in marker pen. I think it would make the pages look softer.

Assuming you have a daughter and name her Crystal, would you accept her becoming a female to male tranny and changing her name to Christian Weston Chandler or some such? Along the same lines, does Barb still give you lip about identifying and dressing up as a woman?
