Quinton has always struck me as the kind of person who will channel other peoples personalities (poorly) in an attempt to gain a share of their audience. When that doesn't work, he moves onto a new one (like becoming vocally anti-Trump).
The worst part of it is that his content isn't even that bad, he just needs to find a consistent and unique tone and stop sperging out on Twitter. As it stands, I feel like I'm watching a different youtuber in every video.

To this all I have to say is that when you play for an audience of greasy excitable manchildren you get so used to their insane overreactions that it's just what you expect out of making a mistake. Them going back and forth arguing desperately that they totally weren't wrong that one time trying to salvage their reputation alone is why there's such a huge crossover between toon spergs and commentary community spergs.
It's also a very easy jump to make when all you need for both is a microphone, some overinflated opinions, and a batch of sprites representing a idealized version of yourself being annoyed and making ridiculous gestures.

not gonna watch it since I already got the idea when he showed the mayor when he brought up "grow up timmy turner" but hopefully the guy doesn't rely on patreon much because if he's going the spoony route its not going to have anything left soon.

To my surprise, the dude simply talks about his past videos, and explains his greatest hits, what video is most popular in his hometown, etc.
There is one bit (around the 21:00 mark?) which discusses edgy content and edgy content creators.
Humblebrags that as he's gotten older, he realised he was helping normalize edgy creators with bad intentions (E.g. actually believing gays are degenerates, while they joke about it).
Says how he doesn't judge people who do make edgy content, although I think he's merely hiding his powerlevel.
It would seem Quinton is distancing himself from his fuck-ups and controversies. Let's see how long it lasts.

Don't forget Rags hasn't really updated his actual content on his channel for about... 4 months at this point. And I know this is off topic - But it's funny that Rags is getting about 1100 bucks a month on his patreon for youtube videos... And hasn't made a youtube video for again 4 months. He's been on streams on Mooler's channel...
Like I said, off topic, but back on topic, I kinda wished that the STOY podcast guys actually talk to LSMark or Just A robot, they were a part of the group that actually pushed Quinton into going into his downward spiral. Might've actually pushed him into becoming more snarky and delete happy.

Ok so I maybe completely wrong, but I remember around 2 years ago someone from the skeptic commentary community, I think it was either bearing or rags, but all these skeptics sound the same so who the hell knows, uploaded a video where they basically bashed a woman who called out a pedophile. The video was about a social experiment set up by a local news TV channel where 2 actors, playing a male student and a female teacher, go to a cafe and has the teacher groom the student and say sexually suggestive things, some woman who heard and saw this happening went over to them and started ranting about how the whole thing was degenerate and should be stopped, the skeptic commentating on the video called her a crazy bitch and said that they we're jealous that they never got laid and that the female teacher should groom the male student, who was a "winner". Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?
