If only Quinton knew that even assuming people within his "YouTube genre" are politically aligned differently than him that wasn't the problem. Shiting on Trump is the popular thing to do, he has no business saying he is being transgressive. If only Quinton knew that people are more pissed at his persona than his beliefs.
Jon screwed up, yes, but he has apologized and owned his horrible way of expressing his opinions. He didn't made a Flex Seal video where he patronized his audience to talk shit, he did it with someone as autistic and scummy as Destiny and was ridiculously unprepared for that.
Jon has grown, at least superficially, from the incident while dear chubby neckbeard is just doubling down on talking down even to his own audience.

Just for this I'm going to update the OP with this very special cap, praying to God that Q ends up doing a Tana Mongeau.

I thought his political sperging was being over exaggerated by people looking for le sjws to get mad at, but seeing how passive aggressive these tweets are is just yikes. Like maybe calling all trump supporters white supremasists and constantly sperging over Pewdiepie "humanizing" the evil Nazi Ben Shapiro and still trying to dredge up Jontron drama is going to alienate your audience. Then to try and hold the same holier then though attitude while apologizing to those same people and expecting them to accept it is just a whole new level of smug.

Yeah, I stopped taking this guy seriously when I saw how he responded to negative comments on his videos and how he interacted with his detractors.
That, and the fact that he considers Lindsay a great video essayist says it all.
The latter tidbit is indicative of his own style: narrow-minded, superficial, and suffering from Dunning-Kruger effect.

Quinton's "Like is this supposed to not push me away?" is pathetic.
Must be so tough for you when you go out your way to ban others and delete evidence of your mistakes.
Inflated egos and twitter truly are the bane of e-celebs everywhere.

It looks like Nerd did chose to side with Mumkey; maybe that was what Quinton was referring as YouTube friends abandoning him. Looking at how Nerd treats his collaborators I think he is only siding to protect creators (as if this could happen to anyone) rather than actively wanting to burn bridges with Q.
Expect a video about the situation on Mumkey on the level of the YouTube algorithm or at least he abording the situation with Anything4views.

It's funny because he follows pretty much all the Anti-Anti-SJWs but he clearly started to take them seriously very recently as I stated before. I guess what he means about being redpilled is his phase as a proto-skeptic viewer and the only reason he has not unfollowed them is because he forgot about them as they are not as active on Twitter as woker personalities or is a closeted fan. This level of wanting to suck the dicks of this woke youtubers seems so desperate yet expected.
As it goes for both Knudsen and Metokur, he admires the former and hates to death the latter. He clearly envisioned himself as reaching his level of respect and fame but he has crashed hard on reality. There's a reason Knudsen did damage control after the Game Life video, he is well aware that people have come to interpret his voice and personality as a impartial and fact-oriented persona that goes beyond any personal opinion; having guests ruins the illusion. On this comparative Quinton is his own guest, he ruined his own potential to be seen as that by his audience and he is paying the price. No one is going to be able to separate his opinions from his content from now onwards and he doesn't really try to so. Funny enough on that department he is very similar to Metokur, the key difference is that Metokur can take a joke and is nobody's wannabe.
To summarize, Quinton clearly thinks that he finally has matured as a creator but he clearly regressed. He isn't even the owner of his own opinions, never a man has exemplified the NPC meme with such perfection it seems worthy of an award.
