I like Quinton's content, I really do. And there's a number of political views that I share with him. But he's got to know how to act without making a complete ass of himself. I don't just mean that I think he should try to not act like such a lolcow, I also mean that I would expect that he knows how to handle a situation like this online. His entire Fallen Titans series is about those online personalities who couldn't play the long game, and he clearly invests a lot of work and effort into creating it, so it's hard to watch him shooting himself in the foot repeatedly and committing the same errors (misjudging the overall environment, attacking his own ostensible audience, and the like) of those Fallen Titans of years past.
This is a really depressing thing to watch because it's ongoing and you know Quinton can turn things around, maybe not entirely but at least mostly, just by taking his lumps and trying sincerely to mend things with EmpLemon and Mumkey and everyone else, but you're just about powerless to stop him from continuing in his self-destructive path. That feeling of futility is always a major downer for me.
