How Contrapoints Can Save the Internet or: Let Me Into the BreadTuber Circle God Fucking Dammit

First off, he really fucked up the audio on this one. I don't how he missed it when giving the video a quick review before uploading if he did that at all.

It's a pretty standard appraisal of Contrapoints; hits all the usual talking points of "her" being some brilliant artists whose videos save misguided, alt-right men like Quinton used to be. We even have the usual complaint that YouTube is actively promoting content that is contrary to them. What's interesting to me about it is how clearly desperate he is to be accepted among the main BreadTuber cabal or at the very least to be recognized by Natalie-senpai. This video going up the day that Vidcon starts makes it incredibly clear what he was hoping to get out of it.

Quinton also treats his breading out like some kind of revelation and briefly mentions some of the """"subtle"""" hints that he had been dropping in some of his more recent videos.

Calling it eventually he’ll grow frustrated at his futile attempts to get into the inner circle and then he’ll jump ship again.

I wanted to give full reviews to the last two videos but, kid you not, I felt very sick after it. If you are still in the mood I can give some context on why his audio is shit.
His lavalier is one of the cheap ones and he seems to use his cell phone to process the audio instead of something like a Zoom recorder. What is weirder is that his audio at least is bearable when he goes for the power point with sound editing style (the audio quality shows when he transitions from footage to himself in front of the camera).
Its pretty lame once you consider the salving grace of most breadtubers is at least their capacity for high production values on their content.

His latest two videos before todays upload are miserably mediocre on all departments, specially editing. He just is terrible at it, he should consider hiring someone or at least give some time to it.
The worst crime to me on technicalities comes on the Machinima episode. The audio just jumps and too be honest I cant comprehend why his narration on footage is slightly better; the closest to a joke the video has is a jab at the 18-34 year old male demographic after Phelous ends reading something and the mention of DSP as "a colorful character. Of all internet personalities you can choose to mock over being racist/saying racist shit it was the easiest and he missed it.
But Every Phillip DeFranco Video is a fucking insult on every level. Even if I accept its terrible production value as a plus to the mockery Quintons imitation of DeFranco stills fall flat, is creppy even as it lacks the high energy and jump cuts of the mocked. Quinton made a video on The Gamer From Mars ages ago where he at least tries to imitate a video of his down to his editing and mannerisms. This video is a halfassed shitpost siding with The New York Times, probably just a afterthought to claim alligance before Contras video.
Edit:- I forgot to mention that he took a jab about Better Help. It only took him months to say shit, proving once again how spineless he is.

He has reached such a point on the DOWNWARD SPIRAL you already have watched all his videos before he uploaded them. I could bet he was too lazy even for this and just rephrased previous blowpieces. It might be the heat, but I wont watch fully Buffalo Bills succing until I have a confirmation from my doctor that I have not developed cancer.

Nahh i bet he going to start to jump ship after vidcon once he realizes Contra (and by extension other breadtubers) don't give a shit about him and all this grandstanding just alienated and entire portion of his audience. I think this happened when he noticed non of the skeptics game a shit about him and wouldn't let him into the inner circle.

It is sad that his latest video talking about someone he is grateful for is so low effort. Audio issues not withstanding the editing is as basic as you can get,he stumbles over his words, and just has nothing interesting to say about "her".

Any idea who "his friends" are? God I miss his real friends. He is trying way too hard to force himself onto more popular youtubers like they are friends, just as his YouTube movies video where he is pretending Nolan is his long time friend and he is Pan Pizza or something.

Do they? i watched his abortion video and it was pretty meh. High production and not alot of substance.
