the part about missing "the window where this is funny at all" with something he considers a major project is sad. with his adolescent and teenage background of being invested in film and editing as an actual life path, he could have worked towards being someone that has merit in the business/art and could create things that don't rely on being topical. instead he got addicted to the computer number going up and unfortunately his number group doesn't give a shit about his dime-a-dozen "i'm no longer an incel i swear!" political opinions beyond latching onto other peoples twitter followers and praying for attention

Quinton, if the mere fact that you have a hate thread causes you a panic attack, then you are too full of yourself. You think of yourself as only loveable, so it hurts when sites like this exist and prove you wrong. No matter who you are people will hate you if you are big enough. You need to either accept that fact and get over yourself or stop egosearching as that will only result in more anxiety as you discover more people who hate you.

Curious to hear people's thoughts on how honest he's being with himself on this one. On the one hand, asexuality seems like an appropriately Quinton-esque way to put a woke spin on being an incel.

On the other, I'm pretty sure he has asperger's (not the smart kind), which does coincide with disinterest in sexual and romantic relationships. I'll give it a maybe? 60% truthful rating?

Regarding our boy's continued attempts to signal virtuously, it's funny to me that Chris Ray Gun got friendly with a big-name lefty channel like Vaush by sticking to his guns and refusing to apologize for anything, while Quinton twists himself into hairy pretzels trying to get even a crumb of approval. He really doesn't realize- it's more about personality than policy, in almost all areas of life.

EDIT: Calling this a hate thread would be a stretch, there has been a lot of good-faith constructive criticism about how he could have turned it around. I agree with the above that it's more a sensitivity about self-reflection than any grounded fear about harassment. This is one of the gentler threads out there, Quinton is, at worst, generally seen as embarrassing to himself and more than a little opportunistic. Which he is.
