This is Quinton's biggest problem, every single time he gets an opportunity besides to backstab someone he always ruins it via his own insecurity. If he truly tried he could've made the plush sell to the goal (probably barely), but he was too anxious to even post on the community tab because he might lose some subscribers. There's a reason why youtubers with merch promote it all the time, every single video. That's because it's the best way to sell it, you need to keep reminding your audience about it. Quinton lost that opportunity because of his aforementioned insecurity

He seems to think that his insecurities can be solved without him ever lifting a finger, because someone else will come along and validate him. First it was his Breadtube senpais noticing him and letting him be one of them. Didn't happen. Then it was becoming Garfield Fandom famous. Didn't happen. Now it's his plush campaign. And even if he got those things, he'd find something else to feel bad about, because insecurities begin and end with yourself. And that's why lots of woke folk like him are so miserable despite part of their culture being validating your fellow man (or at least fellow rightthinker). They think other people can give you self worth, but they can't and when someone ends up like this they become a black hole of positive affirmations.

Because political left and right are always relative and the mainstream media (both news and entertainment) is so overwhelmingly left wing that if you don't deliberately seek out conservative alternatives and don't have any right leaning friends (which Quinton makes a point of not having) it gives you a very skewed view of what normal political views of the population look like. He thinks Shapiro is "far right" because his idea of a centrist is a CNN journalist bleating about "fiery but peaceful" protests.
