The OJ video premiered 9 hours ago with 25k views to date. Things have lead The Quew to plan moving forward to ensure their preservation.
You would think that if Qoomrade Qlinton has the tools to know this and considering one of his most infamous quotes is "#4 HIT the Trends" he would actually do something about it. Quinton's career could actually benefit for aiming to accept that he is not going to grow immensely and rather focus on being a miscellaneous channel to improve his image, but he also obviously has set all his MO on his channel so it's not like he has any option but keeps throwing shit into the wall hoping that something sticks.
He is not particularly knowledgeable on anything besides Garfield and CA, he isn't charismatic; his voice work, writing and editing can be drastically improved and his design is downright atrocious. I know that Q doesn't respect Emp because he is friends with Mumkey and "a fan of Leafy", but Emp's design philosophy is some serious advice he should take to heart. Camera work, sound design, audiovisual language, you name it. Quinton is either average or mediocre with an unwarranted level of self importance. I know that Q didn't got superior education for whatever reason and his understanding of video production is restricted to what you get on AV clubs in high school but over half of YT is composed of college dropouts. Man, Q should be grateful he might get to 378k on YouTube because I can name dozens of channels that are, objectively and subjectively, way better on every facet but don't get big on shameless trend-hopping.
Quinton's shortcomings when he started were, if anything pretty charming, but now it shows how little he cares.

Now slight powerlevel, I study and have worked on very minor productions, so I believe I can speak from a place of experience when I explain what I found so wrong with Quinton Reviews. Since Q or someone in his circle very obviously reads this thread from time to time (because those Patreon changes were very sudden) I hope that this is at the very least considered.
-Let me start with something that I think most Quintonians and Quintonettes can agree: Quinton can't make thumbnails to save his life. I think Q, sometimes, applies the rule of thirds which is a very basic principle of photography and design that is pretty common knowledge. I say I think because allthough I can see it used in some, it's clear it was ignored in others. Which granted, is not big deal when you can pull it off, but that leads into my main issue with his design. IS TOO CROWDED. What I meant by the rule of thirds being used is that I can clearly see that Q has at least one figure or symbol he wants to highlight but, more often than not, he highlights two or more elements thus making the image unaesthetic. Not to mention the advice animal background he uses for most of his thumbnails which make most of his design work a fucking eyesore. But talking about eyesores, Q for some reason includes an outline on most of his cutouts, which usually is very sloppy and just further pushes you into numbness. I think Q is using the background as his signature and at some point he realized it took too much attention from the subject so he choosed to make the outline to divide them, which somehow makes the image feel flat. Overworked yet halfassed. Despite claiming to not like Emp, it seems Q has taken his style to its ultimate consequences. The problem being I'm not sure what I'm seeing when I'm more than 15 centimeters away from my screen.
- Next stop is the font. YES, UNIRONICALLY. Most youtubers stay with a single font and only change it until they find something better. Usually highlights the style of the channel, video and user themself. The very few times I have seen text on Q's channel is usually still, basic white default Loren Ipsum or related. If you have never edited a video, Loren Ipsum is kinda of a meme font because is usually the first option you get, which makes you look like a lazy asshole. In case you don't know also, you can animate titles to make them more dynamic and engaging. The limit of Q's capacity seems to be to make a giant cluster layer of text and make it move for the Patreon credits.
- Most people are aware of the borderline satiric way the video essayist community titles its videos. It's usually a statement or question about the subject matter using vague wording even about the most basic of matters. Q's watch list seems to be composed exclusively of the most basic entertainment habits for americans so it's not like he could pull very heavy conclusions, yet he does, in the same fashion Jack Saint, Big Joel and Sarah Z do but his way of approaching subjects reminds me a lot of NC's editorials. I know the meme that Q understands a review as a "description of an experience" but is impressive how he manages to pack the least punch in the title while the content tends to be very abrasive, whereas it tends to be the other way around with other creators. So when you click on a Quinton Reviews video, you might expect a light hearted review based on the few elements you can work superficially and then you are greeted by word salad after word salad that makes you feel smarter because you are seeing the show everyone is talking about from a different perspective. Quinton is not particularly informative and seems like he isn't very versed on what he talks about either. He is the quintessential Internet reviewer.
- The editing. Is plain, simple and very flat. At best there are comedic zooms and every time Quinton jumps from footage to himself it makes it even more lazy. Editing is an artform, you can achieve great results and cover your shortcomings with great editing, but is clear that Q just does not know how to make anything beyond not leaving blank spaces on his timeline. I think Q's work could benefit from making his scripts and his editing in bits to make them more digestible because that would evidence what really is necessary to make his point instead of jumping on the weird levels of exposition he gets regularly which then leads to tangents. One of my favorite writers/content creators is Jon Bois, a man that always goes on tangents and makes clear as day he is a Vox working liberal. The key difference is that Bois is aware of his tangents and his style uses animation and design to make sabermetric stats seem like stories that go well beyond sports.
- After scouting Twitter I found that Q was making a tweet draft, which for some reason he shared on Twitter, defending himself from his drama just a month ago with the same excuses he always uses. "I was standing against transphobia", "I just wasn't into reactionary dudebros anymore", "I did nothing wrong lol". Now allow me to mention where Q fucked up.
1. He cut talks alltogether with people that trusted him over politics. After Turkey Tom made his video talking about Q he had a panic attack on Twitter, TRO confronted him publicly on Twitter and Q only responded he was one of the only he repented on "floating away from", the skeptic RVNB.
2. He antagonized his critics in the same way people like Ricegum did. "Guppies instead of sharks".
3. He antagonized his fanbase until only the most loyal remained.
4. He miscontructs and lies about what other people do. Here Lies Rags, "youtubers cut me off after getting personal", "n-word in private"
5. He judges people based on appearances while demanding people don't judge him based on that. "nobody reached out to me", PSA Sitch.
6. He acts nasty when he belives he is not going to get backlash. Mumkey and NotMumkey, Pewds v. T-Series, YourFavoriteMartian's reunion, Machinima/RoosterTeeth, the skeptics, Shane Dawson & Onision (only after the first got cancelled).
7. He likes to pretend he didn't do what gets him backlash. The memoryholing of all his "controversial" videos.
