I also am not asking people to pity or feel sorry for me. What I want is compassion, understanding, and respect as a fellow human being. I am a person please treat me like one!
I loathe Quora for this very reason. They keep advertising themselves as a forum for formal Questions and Answers. In reality, it's a bunch of brainlets answering questions to topics they know nothing about. You could report them for incorrect answers, moderators don't do anything. It's honestly worse than reddit.
I will just leave this moralizing piece of shit here. Doesn't he remind you of Movieblob, with his elitism and separation of humanity into moral castes?
I've been there once to check it out. Made up a fake name. Someone reported me AND cared to send me a message declaring how bad I am for not doxxing myself and presumably how good he/she/xir is.
It's sites like this that make me turn off Google recommendations when I search. I literally die inside when I see auto-fill-ins of all the dumb questions people ask.

I signed up for a Quora account during university because I thought it was like stack exchange since I keep seeing tech related questions. I still get emails with shit like these.
IIRC quantum field theory is just another name for crystal field theory - assuming this is true (It's probably a complete exaggeration, like does this person even have a 14 yr old son), it reeks of 'quick lemme think of the most complex sounding name to sound Very Smart'
It's just splitting of certain energy levels in an atom (the d-orbitals) because they're repelled by a lone pair of electrons from another substance (a ligand - could be water, ammonia, etc) and in the UK it's covered on some syllabuses (syllabi?) at 15-16. It's not a piece of cake and much more complicated than stated at GCSE, but again if she does have a 14 year old son his class has probably just touched on it and she's grossly overexaggerating.
