After a few more weeks occasionally peeking in on that place, I'm becoming increasingly convinced that something north of 75% of that place is just angry, single women.
There were two different ones lately telling a story of women upset with their SO because their SO was upset with some element of their appearance. One for getting tattooed on makeup without consulting them, the other for just saying they preferred a natural, no-makeup look.
The amount of posts that amounted to (and in a few cases outright said) "If your man ever says anything that even vaguely upsets you over your appearance, leave him because he's an immature controlling abuser" was just depressing.

I honestly don’t get what’s wrong here in the 1% chance the story is true. He wasn’t out and flaunting it in public. Didn’t go around volunteering his feelings.

as really out here making it a challenge for me to not lump the 2 together, and the connection is there plain for all to see.This may be late but if he continues his "tradition" of "celebratory" pizzas he'll probably meet his bully in heaven real (emphasis on the REAL) soon, if he's even allowed, he's more likely to be sent directly to hell a la John Lennon after losing to a snub nose .38 for his psychopathic behaviour and refusal to grow up. I feel sorry for this guy's dad overall.

They used to have a shit post judgement before the place blew up. It was Shit Post Happened (SPH), you’d have to dig real deep to find those posts now since you can’t sort by that tag anymore, iirc. The mods want fake ass shit. You see one post and then more posts of the same genre will be on the front page the very next day. Wedding posts especially; announcing pregnancies/engagements, inappropriate outfits (club wear, too formal, someone wearing white), bridezillas where the OP is always the maid of honor, and AITA favorite, banning a gay.

Right when I feel like I've fixated on reddit for too long, I see more interesting reddit-based material. But to commentate on AITA specifically, it's possibly the most detached-from-reality subreddit I know of. At least tranny subs and the like have the luxury of being able to say they're completely based in the online world. AITA literally exists to discuss things that (supposedly) actually happened. Most posters have the social awareness of an autistic turtle

It's like, I can accept that probably 90% of the posts there (at least) are made up, or at best heavily embellished/one sided. But responses are the real freak show. People who think the way these people do scare me. I don't understand how they function in the real world.

They don't. They're emotionally stunted shut-ins that leave their houses/apartments/dorms as little as humanly possible. Their stilted, fairytale interpretations of how real-life social interactions play out are proof of this.

Lots of women eat up the relationship subreddits, it's a key demographic thing for them the way true crime stuff is. I can't really say what demographics predominate but I have my suspicions. Lots of these are the kind of women who, if they had close friends, would probably be consumed with interfering in those friends' relationships, as well as fucking up their own -- asuming they don't already. Lacking that outlet and going online to fulfill it makes a lot of sense to me.

I liked the ones who were saying the OP was "ignorant" and should "educate himself", when plenty of people in the thread are pointing out that places like the CDC support the OPs position.
Basically, you're "ignorant" if you choose to accept the wrong credible set of facts. Where have I heard that before?
I mean, I actually kind of agree with the people who are saying a small amount of alcohol is probably safe, because, well... Half the world didn't grow up with FAS.

God, wine mommies out in full force to screech in defense of their shitty life choices in those comments. No lie, I am a week from dropping a baby - and no, I haven't had a drink in those 9 months. And no, it's not hard. Non Alcoholic versions of drinks exist.
If you genuinely cannot go 40 weeks without a drink you are sincerely unfit to have a baby since it's clear your self control is lacking. People want validation for bad life choices instead of the truth I swear.

There is a lot of crossover with the JustNo subs, they start in AITA and get redirected to JNMIL.
I just saw a comment saying that someone got banned from JustnoMIL for offering up proof of the opposite of what the OP was claiming. That user got told that the sub isn't a place to 'show off' in.
It's not surprising that there are more and more comments from deadset retards, now that so many users are in both subs.
