r/antiwork - Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like.

How will society function without jobs?

There isn't a single sane person that's going to want to have anything to do with being a mod/ leadership figure for this movement, the members of the subs are just going to keep eating them alive.

The Reddit admins are probably thinking about going on a nuking spree at this point.

Does anyone else feel just a little bit bad for the tranny janny? The guy is clearly mentally unwell in the first place, and now he’s getting dogpiled by his ideological opponents and (more importantly) his ideological allies. When you consider that the typical redditor cares a lot about what their peers think of them, he must be in hell right now. I wouldn’t be shocked if he does a flip.

My jaded internet side says it’s lulzy & he brought it on himself , but my softer side hopes he isn’t taking all of this too hard.
As a farmer all the drama is top tier comedy but redditors have some nerve getting mad at the janny. They always get so angry and self-righteous when they're obviously just embarrassed that none of them did the most basic amount of due diligence in vetting their leaders and it ended up like this.

They learned nothing from Kony 2012 but they still want to point the finger when they get egg on their face. I don't feel bad for the janny but I don't sympathize with the antiwork users who are angry over this either. Nobody forced them to attach their labor movement to a subreddit run by people who look like that.

Since "coloured people" became "people of colour" because it's somehow less offensive, how likely do people think it'd be to successfully campaign turning "trans people" into "people of transition"?
What are you talking about? Hispanics and blacks are especially accepting to trannies! I see no problem with this whatsoever. In fact I encourage it and will be using that phrase myself from now on.

i wonder if this will be the moment where these people wake up and realize that defending troons purely because they're trans is a bad idea. oh what the hell, it's reddit. that will never happen

The fact that he's a dog walker kind of hits home to me. A couple of my lefty friends were dog walkers about 9 years ago. They didn't make very much money, but for what they were doing with their lives at the time, it met their needs. Both of them decided to try and get better jobs, but everything they were qualified for was a side-grade at best. When they realized they were stuck, they combined their savings and started their own business that went into rich neighborhoods and picked up dog shit out of people's yards. Almost a decade later, they rent an office space, own 6 trucks, have 8 employees, serve 400+ clients, and both of them pull a 6 figure salary while only doing 3-4 hours of paperwork a day to keep it all running. Even though they're successful, they've hung onto a lot of their lefty ideology, so their workers get paid more than minimum wage, get to pocket their tips, paid time off, and medical insurance where the company pays out 75% on claims.

Having a shitty job isn't a dead end if you have a little bit of balls and motivation. Doreen is fucked because they're A) irreparably lazy, and B) unwilling to self-advance because they've developed a hatred for anyone that generates capital. I'd be shocked if they haven't had opportunities to do better, but refused to do so because they'd see themselves as selling out to the "man." Trannies love being in a constant state of oppression, and will often sabotage themselves to maintain their lower class status.

not really, he did this to himself. he wanted to get popular for starting a subreddit or some shit, and he did it.
