This is a mistaken belief of yours. Not one of FOX viewers got pissed off at this. Zero people got upset. The emotions it invoked was just hysterical laughter and mockery "This is what the far-left has turned workers-rights movements into?"

The only people upset are workers-rights and pro-union organizers that realize that EVERYONE, including normal-left, are laughing at them.

Pretty much this, the mods where the ones that came forward and said that they decided that this was the best way that they would share their message. This is why this was such a shitshow for /rantiwork, the fucking mods discussed and selected this person to talk on national tv about their movement, the anchor didn't have to do anything besides containing his laughter. They did this to themselves, never leave a tranny better yet a fucking redditor get any position of power within a movement.
Fox News was obviously trying to get some low hanging fruit to laugh at (and it worked because this is fucking hilarious) but they also didn't just pick some random troon poster to 'ambush'. This guy is one of the oldest mods on that subreddit and most of these antiwork people seemed fine with letting him control the discourse there while the entire janny cabal saw no problem with letting him walk into the most obvious trap ever. This would be like some 2A group allowing an 'interview' with CNN, having the leadership decide who to send, then deciding to send some fat redneck who proceeds to ramble about his small penis and his fear of minorities while being one of said leaders.

Also, people need to realize how easy it is for one idiot to ruin everything for everyone. That's why your movement needs to have a specific identity and cause if you don't want it to fall apart.
Nah, I like being represented by a genderfluid freak named Ketchup who demands that as retribution for the bailouts of '08 Wall Street admits that they collectively poisoned the water to accomplish something that we're not sure of yet.

People just need to realize that an organization that doesn't have clear and defined rules, as well as no clearly visible leader who is liable for the movement, will turn into a shit storm like Occupy Wall Street. That and any organization that uses marketing in their name like "PETA" or "BLM" is probably doing it not because they support the message, but rather to make it harder to criticize them because they're doing something exceptionally fucked up. BLM is to solving racial issues as North Korea is to being a people's democratic republic.

It's so cringe when people pretend that US political parties matter at all and demonize the other side as if any of this shit matters. Laugh at the tranny, you Saul Alinsky wannabe cuckold.
Null, Fox basically only is watched seriously by republicans and is their primary (often only) source of news.

Implying Fox was purposefully entrapping them is a massive cope.

From what they posted - Fox reached out to the entire mod team and the tranny was put forward as the representative.

For all Watter's producers would have known, their representative could've been some blue collar factory worker arguing for 20 days universal paid leave. Instead they got a goldmine, an autistic unwashed NEET tranny whose argument was "laziness is a virtue".
That's the cherry on top of this whole thing, IMO.

Would we expect a cable news channel to try and dig up the absolute most inept, unsympathetic, and stereotypical individual they could to interview? Of course we would. But in this case, they weren't even trying, yet somehow managed to get someone who was probably even worse than their wildest dreams.

Null, you don't get it, Mitch McConnell has my best interests in mind and would never do anything to harm republicans like me, despite him being the failed abortion of a turtle and human fecal matter.

Oh no, from Fox's perspective this was a total and complete victory. They got views on their webpage, they got their republican viewers pissed off enough to shut their brains down for another day (which is the entire reason Rodger Ailes created that network) and they got it all for free. I'm not for a moment questioning why they did this. If I was Fox I'd air this shit too.

Anyway, the problem with the far-left writ large in the US is that it only really exists on university campuses. Back in the 20's and 30's socialism was an actual working class movement. Now it's almost entirely ghettoized on twitter and in lame ass clubs run by autistic undergrads. It has nothing to do with regular people. I mean, speaking from my own experience you can describe most major criticisms of capitalism to your average contractor or whatever and they'll "get it". They might not AGREE, but they'll understand. Until the blue haired omnigendered walking shitposts show up, then the response is a collective "what the fuck?". It's easy to make demands of leadership, except for the fact that there is none. There's just kids who are pretending to be leaders. And they aren't good at it. Because most people who actually have kids to feed don't give a fuck about any of this bullshit.

In the 90's Murray Bookchin became persona non-grata in the American left for pointing out that "lifestylism" was inherently reactionary because it turned socialism into an apolitical mess with no relevance to ordinary people. Turns out he was right.

Weird to see some people arguing that Fox "wanted" this specific mod to go on the show due to being an autistic tranny. The caps from before the sub privated indicate that the mod team in general was contacted and they chose this individual. They could have chosen anyone who was more competent and appealing to look at than this guy. If this was the best the mod team could offer, that isn't really Fox's fault. I dislike them and all TV news media but this sub really only has themselves to blame, or at least the mod team does since I doubt the sub elects these positions.

Honestly, most people didn’t even know this person was a mod, and there was a lot of (censored, of course) backlash about this tranny speaking for the whole subreddit. Obviously this is a sign to never use Reddit except for reposts of dog videos by karma farming bots.

As a lump of coal I support McConnel wholeheartedly
I'll have you know, I own every McConnel trading card and I'm slowly filling out my Ted Cruz collection as well. Any Elizabeth Warren or AOC I open, I immediately burn and buy a new pack of cards to show that company how serious I am about hating that they print those. It's weird that it hasn't stopped them from making them despite my protests.
