r/antiwork - Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like.

How will society function without jobs?

Anyone in the loop about what was out there on this guy prior to this interview? Did he act retarded on r/antiwork as a mod (oxymoron, but still). I can see this being a carefully crafted hitpiece if he was a more known individual but I can't find much at least under the name Doreen Ford.
Farmers watching this thread have already known about and made fun of Doreen's dog-walking job 2 weeks ago: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/r-antiwork.64156/page-33#post-10894626

I bet that some of the Fox News people have also been researching here when they prepared for that segment and must have seen what a slam dunk for their average viewer this would be.

Why the fuck name yourself abolish work when you just want to "Work less and get more pay"

If they had any other name and not a tranny representing them, MAYBE they could have been seen as a far-leftist workplace rights movement.

I cant wait for their thread.
you're trying to come up with some kind of rationale for how people could have mismanaged this that badly when there's literally no management. they're wannabe janny trannies who want all of the power and clout of leadership without any of the responsibility and these retards parrot inane anarcho-marxist rhetoric about how hierarchies of authority are problematic. the best bits of rhetoric they've picked up were just unrelated nuggets thrown out there by people with shreds of foresight maybe attempting to push the group in a more productive direction mashed together like a katamari ball to give some illusion of substance. this is the end result of all subreddit communities because reddit is literally designed from the ground up, at multiple levels of granularity, to prevent any sort of real social consequences and ergo any sort of real community or group building

They must've been pleasantly surprised at just how retarded he ended up being. I've seen some of the Tucker Carlson kind of gotcha strawman interviews and even most of those aren't as embarrassing as this was. I actually just was confused initially because I didn't realize he was trans, I don't even know if anyone informed him he's trans either based on how he presents. It went downhill from there obviously...

Fox News obviously knew he'd be some kind of failure, that's why they interview these people all the time, I mean reddit moderator after all, and they probably read some of his posts and did some basic searching about him. But it's also not a big deal if he turns out to be a criminal or a troon or anything like that which just extends the story for them.

Personally, I would imagine the thing about the moderators deciding he was their best representative may not be entirely true and that he likely wanted to do it and may have leveraged his position while doing a cursory "unless you guys think someone else would be better?"

Then when he got back in contact with Fox and gave them the necessary details they looked at a little more and realized what gold they had on their hands and signed off on the segment instead of just letting it die as uninteresting.

I doubt they imagined he'd be unable to answer any question not about himself though.

"near perfect attendance"
It's like they deliberately chose the worst candidate possible to represent them. His resume reminds me of the Twitter commies who think their job post-revolution would be like leading "therapy sessions" for dissidents and getting government grants for bad art when their current job is being angry on Twitter. No, dumbass, your job will be your current job, unless you're a dog walker in which case you're useless because hiring a peasant to walk your dogs is bougie as fuck. Have fun in the work camp!

Finally someone said it. There’s been this weird history-rewriting to claim that the big banks “co-opted” OSW, but in reality a huge part of it was just a bunch of shitters who hated the idea of working at all. It’s how people like Phil (Hooves) got attracted to it, and we all know he certainly wasn’t put in for optics reasons.
The big banks didn't "co-opt" anything.
Anyone who was on the ground during Occupy saw exactly what the fuck happened.

The people who started it were retirees and moderate dems who gave a shit. They showed up and started the whole thing with a laser focus on accountability for the institutions that caused the fucking 2008 financial crisis. This had broad appeal, and attracted both independents and even some Republicans.

When it started to be successful, that's when the fucking anarchist groups (such as ANTIFA) and the neoprogressives descended on the event like a cloud of locusts. Suddenly, the event that had heretofore been entirely peaceful and had been utterly focused on one thing now had shitheads burning and looting storefronts (which forced the police to crack down on the protestors) and morons who were screaming that Occupy had to be about feminism and gay rights. That drove off the moderates, and eventually the people who started it said "fuck this" and left. After that the only people who stuck around were people with bottomless free time and no responsibilities: The very worst the movement could possibly have to offer.

What most don't understand is that - yes - the establishment encouraged this.

However, it wasn't the fucking banks who did it - it was the fucking Establishment Democrats, and it was done specifically to kill the Dems' grassroots activists by overrunning them with useless shit-butts from these hard-left communities who would basically ensure that nothing would ever threaten the landed gentry again. And the hard lefties, as always, fell for it, since it gave them power in the immediate term, so they did as they always do - exactly what the establishment wanted.

Gotta love reading these threads, though. The level of delusion is absolutely breathtaking.

Makes you wonder how they manage to stay alive, without even a basic understanding of how the real world works.

Imagine willingly changing your name to "Doreen".
Don't think anyone's mentioned it but I'm like 80% sure he picked his name based on Marvel's Squirrel Girl AKA Doreen Green, who used to be a bit part overpowered joke character until Marvel ran out of ideas so they threw her in the publicity ringer a few years ago and got her own kid-friendly comic series and cartoon and whatnot. Just speculation of course but he is a Marvel fan and the timing of her publicity boom lines up with his "transition".

Maybe we got some Fox news writers as lurkers or posters. I mean how'd they find the sub and decide yeah we're run this.
VICE and a couple others have run somewhat sympathetic pieces on the subreddit and the "movement" before. VICE had one just back in December:

Yeah, and all these antiwork faggots need to look in a mirror to see the cause.

Enjoy your "work" from home as you sip lattes brought to you by Doordash while you are "locked down" and the door to financial independence slams shut as your economy is strip mined out from underneath you. Don't call it a grave, it's the future you chose.
Glad I didn't delete this now lol

It's so hard to die nowadays. Like, if you've ever lived around crackheads, you'd know that the only way they die is overdosing and being killed by another crackhead. The hospital and jail are basically resorts by their standards.

True some tracks may have been greased but that shit was heading down them anyway. By the time It decended into racially weighted voting blocks it was a wrap.

That and fire, they light themselves up a lot

According to this resume his email is findingdoreen so he very well might have taken it from a CGI fish. Actually on the less weird side for tranny standards.
