r/antiwork - Yes, it's exactly what it sounds like.

How will society function without jobs?

I grew up in the burbs. You're lying to yourself. Everyone in my hometown is an abrasive asshole in a way that makes even New York seem friendly, and not only that everyone who isn't old is an addict or trying to leave. There's a reason for that. For real, almost nobody in my high school class who's still alive stayed. They all moved to other parts of the country. Because it's a place that offers you fuckall except a yard with nobody in it, an environment full of strip malls, and a fentanyl overdose at the age of 20. The only people still dumb enough to move into that wasteland are only doing that because they still believe the nonsense that it is a good place to raise kids. Their kids, like (again) everyone I grew up with, will either leave or die young. That or turn into the kind of degen this thread is about, because good luck becoming a functional human being when all their is to do is post on the internet, shoot dope, and wait to die.

Oh and there's hobo shit everywhere in that place the moment you leave the car that makes up half your existence. You just don't notice it because suburbanites don't go outside. And this was, let it be said, a wealthy area that during the summer is actually a tourist destination. Lord fucking knows why.

I can see the charms of a rural existence, I like nature and shooting guns drunkenly from an ATV plenty. But suburbia? Glass all of it, it will be a fucking mercy
Where in God's name do you live? I'm guessing not central Wisconsin because in two decades of living in suburbia I've never seen nor heard of a hobo overdosing on someone's car. That sounds more like a vibrant urban culture thing.

Hey, there's something bugging me about this; Everybody's talking about how they tanked the movement with this really bad interview, but... was there really anything to tank? Was there any kind of momentum or movement to be had? Was this fringe subreddit, on the same tier as those cat/dog/child hating subreddits, really picking up traction among people who matter?

no, and that they thought otherwise show's how deeply delusional they already were. Even the "regular ones" that people on here go oh they had a good point. Your not getting $27 an hour minimum wage. All of them are fucking retarded and watching them think they were that much better than the delusional trannies is hilarious.

The funny thing is due to Biden being an utter retard and fucking up the economy I have in fact seen entry level retail and warehouse work advertising 20-22 dollar an hour starting wages.

Will anyone from r/antiwork apply to these jobs?

Lolno.

This retard is trolling and you can't tell me otherwise.

She's being serious unfortunately

"The real America", supposedly.

On paper my hometown should be a great place to live. Income above the national average, extremely low crime rate, good schools, etc etc...

But see that's the thing, "on paper". In practice it's a shithole filled with some of the worst people I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. Again, people in NYC are downright sociable next to these dickheads. My pale ass used to get interrogated by my elderly neighbors because seeing people going for a walk without some malicious intent was so unheard of in that place. The suburbs sucks, I don't know why people on this site specifically get so butthurt about this obvious fact. I'm guessing it's because you never experienced any significantly different way of life then what you're used to and don't realize just how absolutely fucking terrible it is. Like, again, I can talk shit about people in rural areas all I want, but if you're an outdoorsy type or somebody who just generally hates people it's great. Living in a city is a pain in the ass, but you're also surrounded by opportunities you wouldn't get anywhere else and you're never short of something to do on a Friday night. The suburbs? It's got neither of that, it's just a fucking desert. In fact that's not fair, the ACTUAL desert has some beauty to it if you're into that. Your average suburb is just a huge expanse of sprawl totally lacking in anything resembling shared community life, or even a meaningful private one. Like just consider this, for all the problems with where I live, people are fucking outside. I talk to my neighbors more living in the city then I ever did back home. It's a small thing but it can be hard to miss how important that kind of thing is. Modern suburbs by contrast were built specifically to prevent that. And that's why it's so easy to miss just how fucked up the shit surrounding you is.

Can all y'all please edit your posts and delete the address in Manchester NH?

The person you are targeting doesn't live there anymore, but my friend does. Someone swatted her address today and a ton of police showed up and scared my friend very badly.

She is a good person who has nothing to do with any of this. Please delete her address. Thank you.

Does anyone have experience with this guy? I feel like this is a copypasta but I've never interacted with him/her/xir so I can't be sure.

No. There has been traction with labor rights and unions in the service sector but this is because of the WORK of union organizers and people who WORK for organization nonprofits. Not Reddit troons.

Fucking trannies still not self aware enough how they ruin every movement lmfao
Damn maybe the trans pipeline really is a psyop / controlled opposition.

Nah but really hasn't every coalition since occupy wall street had this issue where they can't compromise, devolve into infighting, and thus accomplish nothing.?

I've never once seen any on 4chan in all my years lurking there (or other social media), so I don't see where you're getting this "filled with"

Unironically lurk more. /g/ had a degen general get banned recently because they were embedding loli pizza URLs into the image data.

Is it one of those towns that depended on a single industry that offshored 20 years ago & has been death spiralling ever since? My hometown is almost that way, but it's kept afloat by colleges & minor industries, and there's plenty of reason for hikers & boaters to stick around. The college & uni's entire business model seems to be getting as many Pajeets as possible to pay international student rates and flood the market of low-tier service jobs , so there's only really a community if you're over 40.

Sounds to me more like you’re the kind of person he’s talking about who never leaves their car or house.

Put 3 leftists in a room and they’ll have 7 different opinions on the same thing. Comes with the territory.

Tumblr went under because it was filled with cp and when that came out they had to say either no porn at all which ended up killing them anyway, or pulling the plug there. That's what did it.
There wasn't any confirmed cheese pizza, but it was filled to the brim with degenerate trash like ddlg and underage fanfic (with illustrations) that has since spilled elsewhere.

I blame the sudden fall of tumblr as a containment site for the degeneracy spreading in society. It should either have been choked out early on or stayed up until it died a slow and natural death as their users necked themselves. Or 4chan should have been shut down first, though I'm not sure if the world would be better off if 4chan users had been the ones taking over mainstream social media when the rest of society joined.

I love it. I love reading posts where Reddit, a site that worships moderators as if they're gods, finally see reality for what it is and are now at peak "fuck jannies" and shitting where these people eat.

The powertripping janitors on Reddit should be treated this way more often. Even when I was a kid on forums, the mods were never as insane as Reddit mods.

It's a fucking ouroboros with these people. WorkReform is the best shot this movement has at surviving since it's not getting into the gay partisan progressive stack bullshit that kills causes like these. WorkersStrikeBack will serve as a good replacement for the main r/Antiwork board for KF to laugh at since it's full of the same Doreen-type terminally online lazy trannies who will inevitably self-implode if the board doesn't die out within a few weeks.

To them, if you're to the left of Stalin, you're a right wing Fox News watching Republican. Just look at one of r/WorkersStrikeBack's top posts. They thrive off culture war faggotry since it's the one thing that gives them an identity or sense of purpose in life.
