There was this video a few years ago I clicked on YouTube. It was full of socialist types. Packed full. Many of the comments spoke of "they're so close to the solution, it's funny" regarding why people were complaining about the economy already in shambles, why not many local people can get jobs, they lose jobs, etc. These morons were smugly (which they will always deny said smug) declaring that socialism was the cure all.
It's frustrating because they're so detached from reality that they can't fathom or admit that they're a large reason why the economy is so fucked.
Corporations love them because they have such detrimental ideas to the very people they're supposed to be "helping". Executives get richer with shit like cheap labor, and eventually, everything goes tumbling down.
Is it some kind of mental disease?
Socialism was always divided on whether illegals were good, for instance, both Socialist Party congressmen elected in the early 20th century (both immigrant Jews) opposed immigration on the grounds it made it harder to fight for workers' rights. Most of their voters were immigrants too, for that matter. Others believed it possible to "train" immigrants in socialism which would accelerate the progress toward world revolution. For obvious reasons, this didn't work and served mostly to further division in the socialist movement which of course served the interest of big business.
Immigrants create jobs by spending money in local economies and providing cheap labor that businesses use to expand you idiots. r/antiwork is full of retards but that doesn't make your stereotypical whiteboy "DEY TOOK UR JERBS!" bullshit any less retarded. But be real, you think ANYBODY involved in this conversation, you or the antiwork crowd, is going to be willing to spend 12 hours a day shoveling shit and castrating bulls on a dairy farm? Because that's the kind of work immigrants actually do. It doesn't matter how much the owner pays, you wouldn't do that. Don't lie to yourself and pretend you're some salt of the earth type willing to wade through literal pig shit so some fat fuck in Omaha can get their bacon. You're a whiteboy who likes anime. We all know it.
Yes, a small subset of immigrants do, good for them. That's not the same as construction worker Juan from El Salvador chain migrating his family to America where his wife works as a motel maid under the table and Juan helps get his family members (here illegally) jobs under the table at the construction site. And then Juan's abuela gets a job as a witch doctor (no seriously, there are legitimately Hispanic witch doctors/"traditional healers" and most are illegals, every Hispanic enclave has at least a few) and helps spread disease in the local community because witch doctors aren't actually doctors.
Meanwhile, none of them have insurance (because why should they) so if they hit you after one too many shots of tequila, you're fucked. Of course, they don't pay any taxes at all other than sales tax all while they leach social services from the government and drive on your roads and add to pollution.
Nobility has nothing to do with it, people are people and they all suck in their own unique way. But these particular people are not why white America can no longer get its shit together.
Immigrants actually fuck over black America just as much, if not more, because most jobs immigrants take are unskilled labor worked by blacks which forces competition for those jobs and drives down the wages. They also bring additional violence into those communities (although 70% of violence against blacks is done by other blacks, Hispanics commit over 25% of violent crimes against blacks--possibly much more depending on how "other" is tallied) and driving them out of historically black neighborhoods like Compton. They compete with blacks for welfare, making the system even more unsustainable and ensuring frequent cuts to it, often in the name of funding social programs for immigrants!
Now yes, some of it is on the black community. We all know the issues they have, and their unwillingness to hold their politicians to account for standing back and letting their cities become safe havens for immigrants. But it's undeniable that immigration, especially illegal immigration, damages EVERY race.
