is there a name for the fallacy that makes people believe a stronger emotional reaction means a stronger impact? like "i'm hurt more because i'm shouting and crying louder!"
because it seems to me that this is the logic people like this use when they claim to be traumatized and PTSD-d by everything, they seem to think more trauma is proof that they got hit really badly, or at least hope others view it in a similar way

i think it's the same reasoning people use when they express that they're "so afraid for their lives" or "literally shaking right now" to make the same situation seem more grave

Oh no, not dogshit service from government employees. As though the average American looks forward to the fast, easy, polite, and thrilling experience of going to the DMV, renewing their passport, filing taxes or going through TSA.

Literally nobody in the private sector has given a fuck about some of the most privileged workers in America. Even back during the government shutdown, the only people who weren't pointing and laughing were bleeding heart college students who worked one tutoring shift a week at the campus library.

Adult Baby syndrome?

The massive worshipping of the Democrats are quite something.

Like one thread talking about how the economy is better under Democrats.

It's just narcissism.
Their emotions aren't real btw - if they were really traumatized being fired and losing the possibility of achieving their dreams of a cushy fed job they'd be sitting on a park bench staring at the ducks and doing nothing.
They're performing a temper tantrum on the internet to make it seem like they're emotionally hurt but in truth they aren't - because they know how useless they are and how much they parasite. Nobody actually doing an effective job in a useful function is getting fired en masse. They know this as well but are trying to deceive you with this theatre.
