I try to keep an eye out on GamerGhazi front page every so often and I'll thumb through the articles on there, but the thing that is really mindblowing is how goddamn needy the commentators are. They can't go 24 hours without shitting on KiA and quoting them and calling them horrible. A lot of the time they seem to not be capable of interpreting the quote in a deeper context but instead take it at face value and are outraged by the words alone. It's pathetic. Majority of the time they sound like they need professional mental help more than they need a reddit safespace.

KiA for all it's faults and missteps that they get mocked for does consistently expose and track idiots in media who are talking shit about games while profiting off of gamers (hats off to KW for the Alison Rapp discovery). What I've noticed is that there is a growing number of people who identify with KiA viewpoints, whether it's outright, by association, or by the virtue of talking points and commentary.

In a lot of ways, the subreddit exists as a general commentary on how infantile modern discourse is around touchy-feely-difficult subjects as much as it tries to tackle all the shit that the gaming community gets from everyone.

And while KW might find pity in KiA, the two paths cross every now and then because both places are really after uncovering the idiocy of the world around them in their own ways.

No kidding. Even the very few threads where they don't tard rage and flagellate themselves for their SJW sins and rage post come off an an echo chamber of angry/smug people marinating in their own bitterness. KIA might be filled with neckbeards circlejerking over a tired subject, but they are definitely a lot less miserable and don't feel the need to prove themselves to their fellow members half as much.

Another Ghazelle is triggered by E3 showing them games they don't like.

Gaming Industry, I've Given You All and Now I'm Nothing

I haven't done anything for the past few days. I've spend my time moping in my room crying and hating myself.

I don't need something dismissively telling me "hurr you might as well just do nothing" when CONGRATULATIONS, THAT'S exactly what I've done and it's pretty much the only moral thing to do at this point considering how fucked society is in general.

This is your brain on social justice.

People still care about gamergate? Shit.
At this point, that reddit isn't about being anti-GamerGate. Not when you have them mention things not related to it.

Getting pissed off at games you don't like? That makes them like the GamerGate members they hate and mock. Then again, getting triggered by games is pretty pathetic.

They've got two threads on the death of MP Jo Cox and have already latched on to the allegation that the perpetrator is a Britain Firster, and not a random guy having a fight with another guy and killing the person interrupting his scuffle in a state of confusion or anything.

because why wait for facts when you have rampant speculation?

while swearing up and down that "there is no such thing as anti-GG".

archive link because ghazifags delete everything.

"I'm not defined in terms of negatives. that's why I'm a member of a community established in order to whine about a twitter hashtag."

These faggots have spent two fucking years whining obsessively about gamergate and having legitimate mental breakdowns over it and harassing random uninvolved charity ladies over it and keep thinking about it when they masturbate.

But they're not defined by negatives. They're not really a "side" or anything like that.

Gamergate's become in essence another one of those nebulous concepts that is pointed at as "RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PROBLEMS" by these people (alongside MRAs and Republicans), to the point where they'll point at it for everything from E3 to headlice - in spite of the entire hashtag being dead as shit for months now.

Some Kiwi here - I think it may have actually been the good @Batman VS Tony Danza - once elucidated that the people who never shut the fuck up about Gamergate are, by and large, its opponents, who are unable to cope with the fact that the fight ended a while ago and no one else gives a shit. KIA has moved on to largely watchdogging and making fun of shit the usual suspects have done, but Ghazi remains pearl-clutching and shrieking about how Gamergate ruined their lives, and how we are surely heading down the toilet because of its supporters.

At this point it's NeoGAF in Reddit format. Nothing more, nothing less.

Nintendo never mentioned the word "GamerGate" and explicitly noted the dialogue in the game was not in reference or support of an online hate campaign, as in, not an attack on Zoe Quinn and thus repudiated her allegations Nintendo was a party to antagonizing her.

So where are they getting the idea Nintendo is supporting the idea GamerGate is an online hate campaign? They denied they were egging on the allegations of Quinn, but never mentioned GamerGate once.

The same place they got the idea that the joke was about Quinn in the first place.

Their collective anus.
