Defend games I don't like to own le chuds!

This is what happens when a community takes their subject of mockery seriously. They think that they are inherently better than them, and act as such, ruining the fun.

No one should feel genuine anger or hatred towards something that regularly makes them laugh.
Nah, it's obligatory to extract mirth from despicable people.
Mock them to death.
And when they are broken, dying and begging for understanding; laugh harder.

It's over chud, I portrayed you as the silly guy in my meme!

Regardless of what I think of Asmongold, only midwits pull this shit while arguing.

So /r/GamingCircleJerk was formerly a subreddit just for lighthearted shitposting about gaming. It's another subreddit that has rapidly transformed since the election, and has now 1000% lazer-focused into simping for DEI proud POC women in gaming shit, to the point that over the last few weeks they've been at war with a similar subreddit that took over their former role (/r/GamingMemes). So the actual gaming shitpost subreddit does a shitpost, but now GamingCircleJerk spends the next three days calling them chuds and incels for having done a hecking misogyny.

Long story short the hecking valid simps did go ahead and get the chuds banned again.

I'm not sure I get r/gamingcirclejerk. According to usual reddit naming conventions and practices its supposed to be about mockery about Reddit's gaming culture particularly r/gaming. But Reddit gaming subs and especially r/gaming are pretty woke themselves. They literally had a tranny flag gaming controller as their logo for no particular reason. Is this another RationalWiki situation where the opposition they were founded against is so nonexistant all they end up doing is boosting its popularity?

I suppose maybe it does work as Kaufmanesque parody of r/gaming if you want to believe that the participants are in so deep they're doing the mockery 24/7 without any reveal that its not serious.

You don't get it if you're approaching with a lens of them actually putting on a comedy routine. They're dead serious, thinking they're still fighting for social justice in the wake of Gamergate despite it being over ten years on. They're willing to use any underhanded, even demonic tactics they can while dressing everything they say in a layer of irony.

The sub was initially made for the purpose you said in your post. It was about riffing on all the overused posts on the gaming sub plus general lame "I am Gamer" stuff you'd see on places like r/gaming. At some point around 2016-2018, they started making fun of various culture war youtubers from that era, but this would attract the attention of some very batshit SJW-types that had a chip on their shoulders from Gooblygrape and began using it as a place to bitch about whatever random comment on a video with under 1000 views triggered them and to white knight various games (Despite many of these types being self-proclaimed communists) that "le gamerchuds(tee ehm)" were complaining about like TLOU2. Overtime, this just grew worse and worse until it overtook the entire sub and it became what is it today.

And no, the sub is not ironic in any way. The retards just pepper their thermonuclear asshurt with seventy layers of twitter irony and babytalk strawmen. The sub as it is now is just a place for all the culture war obsessed troons and spergs too annoying for the rest of Reddit to cry about whatever C-list youtuber is literally genocoding them while they laugh at the same three unfunny jokes from six years ago. If you look at the profiles of the people who post on the sub, you're almost always guaranteed to find someone's who's five steps away from having a Kiwi Farms thread. It's batshit lunacy and I'm shocked it's gone under the radar for so long.

I think it started off as making fun of "Gamer Behaviour", and later turned into the ironic-unirionic-dunking-defending of anything and anyone non-progressive. Darth Insanious's reply to you explains it the best. I say this subreddit is proto-Era, but that is giving it too much credit.

And this point is pretty much proven by social justice warriors doing all kinds of mental gymnastics to defend SJW art.

"Your jimmies get rustled whenever your precious cisheteronormative white majority gets challenged." LITERALLY PROVING MY POINT RIGHT THERE! Translation: "umm, akshually, everything is political, so you should watch our precious diverse media that insults you and your intelligence and check your privilege as a cis straight white male, chud".

I can't buy their retard act anymore of "haha no politics means you don't want commentary of any kind in your games", no, faggot, I know you know what the average joe means when they say that. There is no way these gremlins aren't willfully obtuse.
For the record, that's a fake quote to start with. I don't know why, but someone keeps making fake screenshots of FF Tactics characters spouting commie gobbledygook. Another one is about how criminal fines exist purely to punish the poor. The actual game certainly makes a point to criticize the poor treatment of commoners during the feudal era and abuses by the clergy, but it doesn't turn into nonsense about how everybody would be happy if it wasn't for those dirty capitalists.
