Well now that you mention it, when they were detained they were essentially acussed of being spies by the guy from the CCP who argued that they were using their drones in order to film the locations of their military bases, however when he checked their footsge he only saw them riding on their motorcycles following a herd of camels in the middle of a mongolian steppe.
If the redditors accuse them of being spies then at least they will remain consistent on their adoration of the glorious and infallible Peoples Republic of China.

It would be easy for them to find a few old Russian boomers who are nostalgic for the USSR. What these people always miss is that the communist party in Russia is in decline and only popular with the elderly who miss the old industrial economy of their youth.

I'm a semi-regular there. I'm constantly policed for casually using the term "retard" because it's "ableist", and now they came up with the concept of "heightism" (sic) when I called Deng a based manlet. It's a place that keeps on giving.
This is the tip of the iceberg of course. In general, the place is as bluepilled and white liberal as it gets. Their support of China is acritical and based on pure (bad, unsustainable, contradictory) ideology, but the guys there are functionally unable to pull off any sort of actual criticism of the modern world.

A lot of other reddit cesspools do as well. For example, r/TwoXChromosomes, known for pandering to trannies and having an entire rule that forbids 'hatred, bigotry, assholery, misogyny, misandry, transphobia, homophobia, racism or otherwise disrespectful commentary,' bans a lot of folks who never even touch the subreddit for writing one or two word comments in subreddits they just don't like. It seems common among leftist subreddits in general, so they can efficiently create an echo chamber to indoctrinate as many people as possible while avoiding any kind of opposition. Exact same thing r/GenZodong is doing.

Here in Argentina its even more stupid because we got nordic taxation with african-tier "free" services, so you end up paying the crazy taxes and then paying for private healthcare and education because the "free" version suck ass
