It was the communist party all along, Angkar was the public name. Its nature of communist party was hidden but wasn't madeup on the spot.
I suppose you mean that China had them reveal themselves, but I'm not sure about that. It just brought next to no benefit to it, and I haven't seen evidence so far.

Albania had a sort of civil war after the fall of the regime, but that was more thank to the dumbass liberal government legalizing Ponzi schemes (not kidding) than any real mismanagement of resources by the communist government, which made do with what little it had after closing off to the entire world because of some lunatic's ideological dogmatism, and had nowhere near the destructive impact that the fragmentation of Jugoslavia had.

That particular thing is one of my favorite examples on the rare occasion I encounter someone who thinks they're a good idea or there's nothing wrong with them. You literally can wipe out an entire national economy with this form of pure economic cancer.

It looks really dead. Only 2 people online. I think they all just use GenZedong (over 400 online when I last checked). I'd be fine with extending this thread to offshoot subreddits but I don't think many of them are very active.

Yes, GenZedong is the main Tankie subreddit. There used to be a few more, like "MoreTankieChapo", named of course after ChapoTrapHouse, but just like Chapo it got killed by the admins, because they apparently were too radical even for the commie shithole known as Reddit.

Also we should create a thread for Reddit leftists in general. No point having this, SLS and LSC separate.

Probably the NKs claim to have a new case is probably down to them having no issues with using an artillery shell to blow any hotspots to oblivion

Also they lack roads in most parts and a useful railway it's far easier to isolate a whole chunk of the country
