If you tried to write a fictional story as told by an unreliable narrator, you couldn't be as blatant. That kid comes dead last. If she called both before going home, she probably needed a ride, and called multiple times before giving up. I wonder how often she needed something, but couldn't get in touch with either parent because they both turn off their phones the whole time they're whoring around. Probably fairly often.
