Project X, which is practically ancient nowadays, but there was a good bit of promise behind it, if somewhat overly ambitious. I almost decided to join as a developer on that one, but decided against it in the end. Now it seems the lead dev has gone completely radio silent on it, which is a shame.

And while this isn't really a "failed" mod, the original Beautiful States was disappointing to see go.

Essentially, just replace "nuclear war" with "plague". The only version ever released was a battle royale between all the different arrondissements of France.

The Discord server linked on the workshop page is now for "the new Endsieg", something called "Primo Victoria", which is overall a lot less compelling.

I'd unironically say its anime, the only connection with homo shit and nekos I've seen is in anime.

Wasn't there one HOI4 Toozer Mod that had a faction in a (yet another) Second American Civil War set-up called the 'Catgirl Brigades' that was, as I quote: "A milita formed by transwomen to defend themselves." and they bordered a state controlled by Atomwaffen, lol.

Yeah, apparently it was some nobody mod about a 2nd American Civil War sometime in the 2010s; basically a shittier version of Red World.

To make a quick aside, the one thing that surprised me about some piss-average nigh Mary Sue SCP was that the anarchist catgirls weren't explicitly stated to be trans, despite the infrequent updates to the article over the past nine years. Though the one guy in the group is an eunuch, so it's still close.

Also I can’t remember the name of that mod but they cancelled it because of the TNO leak-dox shitshow of Feb. 2021. They were terrified and thought they were next lmao

It's been a while since I checked, and unfortunately I've long since lost the Workshop files for it, but the premise was supposedly the 22nd century if there was no Cold War. Quoted directly from their initial reddit post:
Action of mod happen in the future (year 2060)
After a long friendship between Soviet Union and United States(US) after WW2, in 2020 something terrible has happened , the United States accused the Soviets of incitement and influence of the neo-socialists , then the Soviets also Show your accusation towards US ,and from that moment began the Cold war, eastern countries in Europe was independent from Soviet oppression and rule , however the Baltic States , belarus and ukraine remained and soviet union has not collapsed. The Soviet Union tried to restore its influence in Eastern Europe , the Soviet Union created a Baltic holding which included all the Baltic countries, even then there were protests against this but the Soviet Union has resisted this, Also, the operation "Project 600" which was to takeb by Soviet Union in 2028 , soviets wanted to hold Eastern Europe but this plan/project failed because of support for Poland and Romania from France, Germany and Italy, Europe has resisted and won the political war in Europe.
It was rough around the edges, and what wasn't mentioned was that there was an undercurrent ideology known as The Brotherhood that was supposed to be expanded on but acted somewhat enigmatically from what we were given.

Surprisingly though, it's not fully dead, as the moderators still show up and gave an update on the 25th that it's merely on "hiatus" pending figuring out how to go about it again. I can only imagine that the new DLC updates keep fucking up their plans or something.

I tried to get back into Multiplayer HOI4, and the community is so fucking shit, all full of trannies and those that suck them off. I feel so disgusted that this is the community that it has become over the years, that this is what spawned out of out it. I requested Steam remove HOI4 from my account, I feel nothing but shame that I wasted so much time into this game, I would unironically play R6 Siege or Rust at this point than do Hoi4. What happened to this community, what about hoi4 attracts Trannies and why do so many servers try to defend them after the TNO drama is well known with their grooming? honestly beats me at this point.

It's autism. The HOI4 community has always been a shithole full of autists since the very beginning. The lack of gatekeeping is why HOI4 is as bad as it is now, though it was always shit.
