Last toozer's more than a year old, it was that one about foreign events dating to 9/19/2023. Realistically speaking this mod's fucking dead (even more than it already was), whatever snowflake-in-Hell-level chance it had of limping to even a 0.1 release evaporated when the October 7th attack happened and the rabid Hamas/Third Worldist commie shills drove out the commie kikes/kike-adjacents who didn't believe in exterminating every Jew between the river & the sea...and who turned out to have been responsible for the (very little) work that had been done on the mod since they kicked out the CHAZ founder 5 years ago.

All that's been left, for quite some time now actually, is pure Anti-Life circlejerking about how much they seethe at the existence of non-bugpeople & sadistic fantasies about how they'd like to destroy anything that resembles decency & actual freedom in the world. Their politics channel in particular (also by far the most active channel on the entire server, far more so than the nearly defunct actual-mod channels) is a cesspool of leftard coping, sneeding and general insanity.

It's OK though, we have TFR for a real modern 2ACW experience now. Just waiting for the 1.1 update to drop before I really start getting into my American Gracchus run.

They have had to admit that they like the mod itself and that it isn't as 'fascist' as they thought, but hate TFR players for being 'Hitlerite'. Seems their beef with the TFR devs is that the latter don't police their Discord & root out anyone to the right of Mao with sufficient zeal.

Give him the ability to take over as a leader of some random tag, and amass riches as he plans to create the very first megacorporation for his "1,000 children vs Chris Tyson" challenges, and give him an extra path of assuming the role of the Antichrist looking to subjugate all of Earth for his eternal reign.

tbf doesn't Tariq have like an actual ideology and 'movement' aka the FBA (Foundational Black American) Movement? Buck Breaking was like his most famous thing but he's been a lolcow years before that came out. Like he had his start as a PUA (kinda like CRP) and short career as a rapper before becoming an 'FBA' leader.

They're sort of like a moderate version of the Nation of Islam (in fact they're even friendly with them IRL) but the thing that stands out is that they're extremely anti-Pan African (FBAs hate other Africans aside from African Americans, if anything they especially hate other Africans more than ol' Whitey) which I think could make for interesting conflicts with other black nationalist tags. Like they want Total Jamaican Death cuz they fake ass niggaz n shieeeet who wanna steal their welfare.

one thing ive noticed while playing TFR is how there's really no good endings, especially if you look at the end of the industrial tree. you either have the government as the main buyer of everything or 'regulated monopolies' for centralized and decentralized production respectively. trumps america is almost always a de-facto one party state even if you go libertarian and he still invades mexico and canada, bidens america wants to enforce neoliberalism and give trannies rights (and even going with mitt romneys path will only probably delay the inevitable), APLA is this but with communism/anarchism instead of neoliberalism, and ironically the PF from the prespective of the one playing might be the only ones who have a 'good ending', so far as you can empower congress and reestablish america as a 'national republic'. in comparison when you go into a biden or trump playthrough, youre expecting to restore democracy but you just get a defacto one party state.

EU/NATO is biden on neoliberal steroids, especially when you have the likes of fehlinger. russia is always authoritarian (even with navalny since he's a bait and switch who's actually really hard right) and the asian war always forces one side to collapse, either japan india and company or china. TFR might be the first mod ive seen where neoliberalism is framed in even a slightly negative light and where there's no good ending.

It's more of a testament to the devs focusing on fun paths and dynamics than trying to have obvious good guys vs bad guys or wholesome chungus vs politics I don't like. People accuse this mod of being "chud mod", yet most egregious nazi factions like AWD have significant challenges, and the "best" options are often status-quo that seek to perpetuate the globohomo because it's a lot more favourable to people in charge. It's a lot more cynical.

Good endings should happen in the hypothetical sequel for TFR. After all, what's the best way to teach someone a lesson than a corporate dark age and WW3?

Democratic Medvedev has 4 paths (United Russia reactionaries and moderates, New Russia, commies and socdems)
Zhirinovsky has Yunemans national democracy, slutsky and constitutional monarchy
Zyuganov has Navalny menshevik larp and maybe more idk I haven't played them

Medvedev is probably the best path for Russia, even if he sends billions of Ukrainian children to die in Donbass coal mines in all of his paths. He left quite an impression on Russians by being the only president other than Putin, and the president who promised some reform (and just turned into another gay putinist lackey).
