Plagued /r/TNOmod and the Reddit HOI4 modding community - When a subreddit for a video game mod turns to utter insanity

I really liked that intro, apart the cringe depiction of Sablin who the fans used to really suck off. Cool attention to detail like Goering being chained to the militarists, Japen's army and navy cracking apart, the gang of 4 etc Really reminds me of why I used to love the mod.

Godwinson, if you do ever finish your mod please add a mechanic where if you elect the SocDems they either take a sharp turn to the left after getting in power or get couped by their own vanguard. Thxs.
I think what EaW does better and have them be a front for nazis is funnier.

Are you talking about post-G4 Germany, or some other tag?

Good news! The latest hoi4 update actually fixed a few crashes! Paradox made modding easier for once!

Also I buffed the Russian warlords so they actually fight each other/unify Russia.
Some lead dev drama going down behind the scene of the Judgement Day Red Flood sequel.

The best part is they're arguing publicly about the announcement.

I thought the mod concept was interesting. Does this mean no more updates?
Depends on if the dev did a lot of work for the mod or not. That's usually what determines if these projects live or die when members in a team leave or are ousted for whatever reason. Look at what happened with TNO after PinkPanzer left it.

Panzer didn't really work all that much after the mod team started growing but he definitely did act as head tardwrangler. A no less important position, as he was ultimately the figure everyone raillied around, regardless of how competent he was.

Of course, he was a domineering leader and domineering leaders tend to leave behind weak successors. TNO was no exception, and now the mod team has nearly no leadership and has basically fractured into disparate cliques.

TNO devs love warlords so much they added warlordism to the mod team.
