Do you think it would be bad idea if TFR added in shit like immigration and race into the mod, kinda similar to how TNO has cultures for each province? Those 2 issues are arguably 2 of the biggest of the modern Western world and the main reasons parties like AFD are finding success,
France has a debuff that's called "mass migration", and the US has one about the border. Le Pen can remove France's debuff pretty early, so it isn't as if they aren't willing to deal with the subject. The problem is that the 2ACW will also cause a massive influx of americans trying to flee into europe, Gadaffi's son will declare war on and curbstomp all of the north african countries, which will cause even more refugees to flee, and the 1st european war will kill and displace millions no matter the outcome. So it isn't as simple as "remove kebab", there'll be a hodgepodge of actual refugees from all over the world to deal with, and it can get very messy very easily
TFR, while not quite as bad in this regard as TNO, is still sadly a very scripted and railroaded mod, at least until diplomatic options are enabled in the late game. It wouldn't be worth the time and effort to implement those into the mod if they cant be used for gameplay. Then there's of course the inevitable "wtf why is Taiwan not Chinese", "wtf why is east Ukraine Russian" and so on that it would cause.
one thing i noticed is that if the house of representatives (the faction that actually gets gaddafi into power and 90% wins) is defeated, the same election event happens but gaddafi isnt elected, libya just stay normal

Yeah I talked to a guy on it. I dunno a whole whole lot but they were almost ready for a release but legit some of them vanished. Its the same old story. A lot of them are college (probably high school) kiddies who make excuses they gotta focus on being schoolcel and a good boy student. The mod then kills itself. The guy who I was talking to is not exactly my friend but I was friendly enough with him. Being one of the few left he wanted to turn it into a "right wing propaganda mod" his own words. Obviously that did not pan out. Also his girlfriend cheated on him with another friend of mine who then cheated on that guy too.
It was actually some long forgotten Cold War mod that just fizzled put and never made it past the TOOZER stage if I remember correctly.

Be honest, how close to actual release is the mod? I might know a guy interested in working on the mod if it's not practically abandonware.
Not close at all one big problem was we have very very detailed autist. Lore but not enough of a Team to code we have one coder who’s Sicilian so you can guess the work ethic there,it’s not abondend since most of the dev higher ups still pitch in a little bit as a passion project but I want to start ramping up devlopment again by the start of next year
From guy on your mod team from 2019. You're still just as dead as ever it seems. If your Sicilian friend can't code by July of next month just dump its source code and gfx on git.
