Also double post but I don't care. Another thought that came in too is how will you handle communism and socialism in the mod? One thing I disliked about TNO which you can see if you go looking through my past posts, is that Commies without any outside funding can create a new international. Double-so if its niggers or a buck broken USSR that did it.

I like the one idea some dude here gave (forget who but if this sounds familiar one of you can chime in) that communism and socialism should be the more "authoritarian and militant" flavor of the OFN. In that most socialists and communists having been stamped out of Asia and even Europe side with and support the OFN and America in this timeline. America even being ironically somewhat worshipped or liked by leftists just since its the last hope. Old TNO lore sorta dealt with this with America supporting the commies in Columbia, Malaysia, Philippines, and originally even the Vietcong before they changed their minds.

Socialists are too weak to actually form their own faction so they will have to align with America. The idea that other guy gave is Yockey and fascism is something America gets if it loses too much. Fighting against fascism is seen as a lost cause and due to defeats in wars constantly America gets the same conditions that makes fascism rise and get a mentality of if you can't beat em, join em! Reverse side its not just winning that will get you Hall. Its if you actively pursue jingoist and militarist policies that are neo-con like you get a stronger socialist sentiment. That Hall and CPUSA should be the end result of so militarily pursuing anti-fascism as a crusade you do just become reds.

The other guy probably worded all this a lot better but I really liked his ideas. I always felt that TNO should be and remain a third way cold war and it seemed off when people tried to make Russia a fourth cold war contender after just going through a warlord era in the 60s and countless ethnic cleansings and genocides before that in the 40s and 50s. always saw it that Germany is the big boss of natsocs and normal fascists. Japan supports stuff like Nazbols, monarchies, nobility, and non-white ethnic nationalism. America OFN is liberals but with a radicalized tumor of reds from the fallen USSR and other European nations that have immigrated over to it.
 
I haven't touched HOI4 modding in years. not only make no promises but can guarantee I won't deliver. However, in a hypothetical Axis victory scenario, what are some things you all think get missed by the other big boys?

I've been dinking around, and I'm looking for further ideas to goof around with.
 
Someone should make a Kiwi Farms warlord TFR submod, where the Farms is portrayed like how lolcows think we are (chaotic evil cyberbullies). Your goal is to turn the US into a totalitarian surveillance state where everyone lives in a Truman Show style nightmare for the amusement of a bunch of trolls.
You could have some fun stuff like:
A balance of power mechanic between Beauty Parlor and A&E.
Focuses like ‘The Alogs HAVE Won’, ‘Record Their Screams’, and ‘Make them Cope. Make them Sneed’.
Subtrees for appointing lolcows (Chris, Bossmanjack, Nick Rekieta, or DSP) as leaders so their terrible decisions bring more amusement.
About appointing lolcows as leaders:
They should give you debuffs, however add a mechanic, similar to ATW's despair counter (maybe call it "Kino-meter" or something), that gives you buffs for including lolcows in your government and selecting decissions that are funny.
I think it should be placed somewhere in Florida, maybe replace parts of the Floridian government's territory. If KF wins the civil war, there are wargoal focuses to get to lolcows living abroad i.e. "Herd the Ragepig" which gives you a wargoal on Mexico to get Ethan Ralph, "Slay the Dragon" gives you one on Germany to get Drachenlord, "Clean your room" to get Jordan Peterson in Canada.
Of course, Jewsh's long time wish to obliterate the state of California should be included, which just nukes CA and reduces the population to 0 (for a stability buff). Something similar for the UK or focuses to meddle with UK's allies to leave it in solitude om the international stage, same with India.
Maybe also mutualy exclusive "societal" focuses like "Promote white families" which gives you a stability boost and diplomatic decisions with european nations, with the alternative being "Appeal to the riceburners" which gives population growth and decisions to ally with either side of the Asiatic War.
The possibilities are endless

AI generated images, stock photos, and lots of gradients and filters would be my guess. Make the image sizes big and feel free to use TNO assets, I've seen a few icons with those.
In old TNO lore Himmler supports the Austrias commies for some reason. You gonna do anything with that or is it just as stupid that you agree with the TNO-fags? Actually what is Bruhgundy like in your mod?

Considering my work on TNORA, I am very much in the camp of old-TNO view on socialists. RUS probably won't directly join the OFN, but they are definitely aligned in terms of interests. The only warlords that would probably be hostile to the US would be the Aryans, Amur, and the Holy Russian Empire. As for the 4th internationale, it's not a proper faction in RA. It's more of a buggy, if harmless, mechanic some Soviet warlords can get.

As for my future plans, the US is 100% going to be backing commies, including the Viet Minh and other SEA rebels. In fact, my plan for the Central/South America wars involves the CIA teaming up with Che Guevera to stop the rise of nationalist/fascist governments backed by Germany/Japan(if they aren't completely neutered by the Pacific War) which leads to explosive consequences. For the Iberian wars I think I will give America the option to either back the Republicans or the Socialists.

I have an idea for how I want Phase 2 America to play, sort of based on Panzer's plans you mentioned here. Essentially you balance certain cultural/policy dichotomies (like pacifism vs militarism) while taking into account the current president's preferences. Hall (NPP-L) and Yockey (NPP-Y) will be more extreme than other presidents, making balance for them more difficult. I will note that as of my current plans, they are not polar opposites of each other. I currently have them slated to favor elitism highly, considering they both plan to consolidate power using institutions of power. Might also give them a civil war if you screw up enough as either.

I think its cause to Himmler and Panzer back then they knew that a commie Spain does nothing. Essentially its a sitting duck, an iso9late pariah as none of the other super powers want it and with it so full of spies makes them easier for Himmler to manipulate.

Very based. Always liked the neat idea that America is more leftist friendly and militant cause of fascism and the immigration of Russians and French to America. Its something that TNO dropped since actually commies took over and working with America is seen as gross and a big no-no.

The ideology and how it works. Something even TNO does not do right. A lot of the times people make it USSR with a coat of brown or black. When in reality it would be similar to modern day PRC with bigger race autism tied to its ideology.

Excellent, I'll keep that in mind. In other news, I had this mod I made for my personal use about a month ago. It's a fork of an already existing mod on the workshop that adds more content to the EU if formed.

You have to set the cosmetic tags manually, the tags I'm using it on are from a mod called Pipe's custom puppets or something like that., it lets you create occupation zones and set your generals as leaders for them. I even made some decisions for the mod.

The Third Reich had some interest in annexing Crimea due to the history of the Crimean Goths. I think having a Third Reich version of Kaliningrad would be fun and unique.

Another, more likelier place for a German Kaliningrad would be in the Baltics. It’s much closer to Germany and already had a population of ethnic Germans, concentrated mainly in what is now Latvia and Estonia.

TNO does both of these. Crimea is directly controlled by Germany and was settled with Kriegsmarine veterans. Baltic Germans also exist but they're just part of Ostland. The remaining Latvians and Lithuanians are noted to be heavily Germanized.
