Thank you, Jakob. Thank you for finally being honest about yourself. I feel as if you haven't told the whole truth, but at least you're making a step in the right direction. You'll never wash off the stain that is TNO from your life completely, but perhaps you'll escape the fate that so many others in the HoI4 community are quickly spiraling into.

Take a break from the internet, get some hobbies, and for god's sake get some better taste in porn.

I played HOI since first installment and that was my best experience with grand strategy / map painting ever. When HOI2 was around I remember playing this as a teen to late night hours due to three things:
1. Game had sync errors so multiplayer was taking like forever to finish (if ever).
2. Most of dudes playing this game had families, kids to put in the bed, work and had very little time on week days and sufficient time to play it on late night on weekends.
3. Most of the notable players were from US and Australia and I fondly remember some game rules called 'Aussie Rules"

When third installment hit my hard drive I could barely play because nothing was explained and nothing resembled prior games. That was overwhelming grand strategy were You had to literally command every fucking brigade on eastern front. AI was notoriously bad and inefficient to even compete with something having a brain. I don't know how they managed to botched this game so bad but German AI had fucking issues fighting in France in 1940. From one hand it was funny but on the other it presented new way of thinking about game development - expansion packs. Without them HOI3 was unfuckingplayable and it had like 4 of them. Not to mention extra skins and other shit for extra price.
I was eagerly waiting for the last iteration but the amount of simplification to literally drawing two lines on the map, making three clicks in production tab took my interest in game and buried deeply in the grave. The "old guard" which I was familiar with moved on and like me couldn't bear to play with 14 year old spergs not following simple game rules.

The mod community always had a really deep knowledge about historical events that took place before and after WWII. That is why Kaiserreich, East is Red, Darkest Hour (which became standalone version of the game - best to this day) Modern Day Scenario, and few others were so great and replayablity factor was even greater. But of course with bigger audience and because Paradox is in shambles thanks to Swedish political correctness they started employing morons to fill stupid quotas rather then actual developers. Same happened in mod community where you can't say bad thing about commie trannies endorsing USSR.

I already put my arguments earlier, there isn't much need for me to repeat myself, it's you who couldn't disprove mine.
if you guys put that much time into Iron Curtain, maybe it would've turned into something decent.

Let's see my good friend, but that medicine was developed in the west. Look at everything the west has done to benefit the world, vs what arabstan has done. Oh wait, there's no point. You and your pathetic race have contributed nothing to humanity. Oh, and don't worry, the west has these things called pace makers. They help your heart. They're also probably worth more than the entire village you live in.
