Personally I believe PDX forced their hand to release it , because in day or two Barbarrosa dlc will update supply system, high command.
And they can't just ignore it like spies.

My prediction is we will see in early spring update that will make it playable with new hoi4 mechanics and proper content update in year.
If they avoid drama.

Lol I looked on culture and states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama And South Carolina have Niggers as majority "culture" in early 1960s.

The New Austria update is going to have some interesting choices for paths...
There's going to be a Count Kalergi path

and a Franz Conrad von Hötzendorf path!

There's a lot more to it too, but I got a feeling those two will be the most memetic paths for Austria.

Having two kinds of Zionism (technically three, there's two Revisionist Zionism for some reason), two types of Maoism, etc. just screams pure leftist cope in a Axis Victory alternate history timeline.

I was expecting stuff like 'Arab Fascism', 'African Fascism', 'Fascism with a Human Face', etc. see how various other and third world countries would adapt the ideology to their own purposes much like with socialism in OTL, but nope. They can't even be that remotely creative.

Italy not being on good terms with Germany could've been a good example like with the USSR and Yugoslavia in OTL, but again, just plain laziness.

Hell, much like Fascism in our timeline. Africans were very fond of Fascism and Germany, as were the Arabs. Any colonial area that was temporarily freed by the Germans during WWII ended up taking ideological lessons from Germany for their push for nationalism in the post-war era. In a scenario where they won it'd be this but tenfold.

Imagine a resurgent Ba'ath Party using a Sumerian Swastika as their symbol and asking Germany for a seat at the post-war table. You could have paths where you try to use German ethnic archaeology to try and be recognized as an Aryan people, or one where you assert your own worthiness and go it alone to try and get a place as Germany's equal or rival in the Middle East. That would be so interesting.
