Forgive me if i sound like a whiny faggot.
Did this path and basically cheated my way through it, i admit i'm dogshit at HOI4 (So i play on Civilian, yes stone me, i know) but i legitimately did good for a fairly blind play through, conquered the south etc.. without using commands or any trickery.
unfortunately, your allies are retarded and i despise declaring war through decisions. not only do you not get warned, but in some cases, the AI will do it and not have anything on your border, which is important if your Atomwaffen with limited troops. For some reason you can't buy shit from the black market, no idea why even when you have Trillions of Dollars or when you've won the Civil war. (Correct me if this is a bug or intentional)

so with me being fucked over by the AI, had to do a sneaky console command or two, by this point i was legitimately tired of this shit so when i finally won I had to then wait around for even longer for the Aryan war to start.
I don't know if its whether or not i cheated or due to me just having been fed up by that stage but truthfully both this and the PF path kinda felt, like "meh" paths to me
I legitimately like where the mod is headed though and i think as a mod in general, it's setting a good example for future developments within the community, The UI is kinda ass though imo but hey, at least it isn't TNO levels of horrendous eye cancer. Another thing that bugged me was Player led Peace conferences for some reason not working (Yet it worked prior to one of the patches since i used with the Patriot Front run)

Still willing to try some other paths though, Maybe Germany or Russia? Soundtrack is also a 10/10

You get liquid assets if your income is higher then your expenses. Any excess income is converted into hard cash. You might have to turn off "auto repay debts" in the economy menu.

Wouldnt work for scripted peace deals anyway. The mod probably changes the regular peace deal stuff, IIRC player-led peace conferences just forces the AI to give all their points to you, so there's probably a file conflict.

There are normal peace deals if there's multiple nations involved (from what i've at least seen) but then again yeah that could be the issue, It's weird since when i did it with Patriot Front, other nations gave me their points as per usual, yet now it didn't work

USSR was absolutely destroying NATO when I finished

The mod is unpolished in some areas (I encountered some broken triggers along with empty loc), but it was still pretty fun. Wish some tags had more content though. If I do play the mod again it's going to be with a better pc. Mine was crapping the bed throughout.

Side note, but I recently downloaded the rest of the dlcs, and they're absolutely awful. All they do is add bloat.

Anyway, back to modding.

TFR's gameplay seems to be iffy at the moment. Russia is overtuned and can solo NATO without too much issue, and Biden can typically steamroll Trump by spamming air divisions and getting obscene buffs. Writing is pretty good, I've tried at least Patriot Front and Constitutional Government and had fun with little issues. It's noticeable there's some ESLisms involved, but they do not hurt your enjoyment.

That's just ACW content though, I've heard that other countries range from stomp to ball-bustingly hard. Japan is TNO-tier wait for focuses and decisions so you can actually wage war on China, but it is stalled instantly by awful debuffs. Similar shit as Germany.

Saw this on the cut content for TNO. How its related is this is another Panzer idea but seeing TFR compared to TNO? TFR is at least having fun in the same vein as KX. Like Panzer knew how to weave nuance in the story for as faggoty as he was. He after all was the one that while he did tut tut you for being a Nazi, would let you go nuts as Tabby or Vagner or go to space as Glenn. Ways that we've been over that the new team seems to want to kill and be up their own ass. Even stuff like Direlwagner being killed by SCPs or a sledgehammer wielding Babushka are examples too.

Essentially TFR gives me hope since seeing the national focuses and stuff like this from old TNO. This is what HOI4 modding should have been. Just dopey sillyness in a subpar Barbarossa simulator. Having fun with memes or silly antics.
