Plagued /r/TNOmod and the Reddit HOI4 modding community - When a subreddit for a video game mod turns to utter insanity

I don't like minigames or bloat but I wish TFR expanded more on restoring order and the economy as the American factions. Like, just think about how collapsed supply chains for multiple months would affect everything, but the APLA/PF walk into LA/NY and there's really not much indicating how the cities changed from pre-war times other than you start repairing a civilian factory.
Stuff similar to that will most likely be added as post unification content for America is released.

That one focus is missing an icon because I'm on linux. Sue me.

I was doing some light research on West German politicians and it's hilarious how many were members of the Wehrmacht or Nazi party. Only ones that weren't were older generations of dissidents.

These are the last 3 unique army subtrees. Good enough for now I think.
Is there a post-2WRW Tabby collapse?
It could be a nice unique failure state if you stall out as Victor.

It was an unfortunate but necessary compromise. Every aspect of German society 1933-1945 was integrated within the structure and function of the Nazi Party. If they went the hardcore "fuck all former Nazis" route than West Germany would not have been a functioning state. They needed civil servants, military high command, politicians with governing experience. I think the only straight limitations they had were direct association with war crimes and crimes against humanity but I could be wrong.

I see Johan's plot to destroy the CK3 and Vic3 dev teams is going well.

General Adolf Heusinger may have committed or was complicit with war crimes during the eastern front, but I do not think he was ever formally charged.

Post-War Germany wouldn't be functioning at all if the Wehrmacht refused to rat out Wehrwolf guerillas to SHAEF at all imo.
The guerillas consisted of young men ready to risk their lives fighting the post-war Order while the military high command consisted of elderly opportunistic officers and generals who took every available moment to fuck over Hitler and his zealous warriors if they could, because they were butthurt that an Austrian peasant like Hitler wasn't willing to restore the Monarchy at all.
This is why Stalin's purge happened by the way, Stalin had these major points of conflict with his officers whom were suscepted of loyalty to Trotsky, or Imperial Russia and so he killed them which may had short-term consquences like freshly underexperienced Soviet generals but worth it in the long term.
There was also the plan to relocate to the Alps that Hitler could ever applied, which would have been a major pain in the ass for the Allies devolving into Taliban-tier fighting.

Funnily though only a few years back did Germany De-Classify old documents about there being a secret fighting force of Ex-SS Guys and Wehrmacht Veterans. It was led by Albert Schnez and it's entire existence was to prepare for a Possible Soviet Invasion or Communist Uprising. They grew to a total of 40 Thousand Members.

This wasn't just some half assed operation either, they had the Names and Addresses of various Political Opponents who'd they would either arrest or shoot in the event of the previous scenarios occurring. And Yes, the German Government knew about this and were cool with it (Because let's be honest, If the Soviets invade, you'll take all the help you can get)

If I might sperg a little, the antifa meme of "Our grandpas didnt vote for nazis, they shot them" is kind of incorrect: A great proportion of Europeans grandfathers probably were or voted for Nazis (and Nazi collaborators). Even in Finland we had three ministers who were ex-members of Waffen SS. In the 1960s the president, speaker of the parliament, minister of defense and seven out of nine bishops of the Finnish Lutheran Church were former members of the Academic Karelia Society, which was arguably a fascist group.

It's hard to wrap your mind around it now, but in 1930s fascism and nazism were seen as cool, new, progressive solutions to the problems of gangster capitalism and looming threat of Bolshevism. They only gained a bad reputation in the 40s, and people on all layers of the society had to start pretending they weren't excited about those ideologies mere 10 years ago.

America is largely a service based economy, anywhere outside of the Great Plains (farming), Midwest (Manufacturing and that's debatable since only the NSM makes an effort towards restoring it), and California (Maybe Silicon Valley?) would get fucked and see huge famines and would be deadweight if it wasn't for the sake of legitimacy and manpower. Texas could probably survive by trading oil for essentials if they don't get taken over by radicals like the NatSocs or commies.
Since the start I have felt like TFR was missing some kind of famine mechanic in the 2ACW, mostly as a way to balance the fact that Trump takes states that have little manufacturing but a whole lot of food production.
Not sure how it would work (and please God do not let it be a TNO GUI), but maybe giving Biden some kind of timer to gain more food producing states to avert a famine, if that triggers then there’s an army malus that would help Trump push.

Basically, what happened in Iraq. The de Ba'at zation failed as an idea because like 70% of all skilled workers were members of the party, as expected in a decade populist long dictatorship
Also half of the ex-Ba'athists (at least the Sunnis) got radicalized and formed proto-ISIS then actual ISIS.
