Into this enters Barge (another dev), who is making a play for the dilator throne. Panzer has been unable to offer much firsthand help in all this (apparently he only has access to his phone and is busy struggling to keep his discount tranny mod empire imploding). It's gotten so bad that Panzer deleted his git content (since it contains personal details of the devs) and has fucked over both TNO and even Godherja to a lesser extent.

The earlier pages have a quite a few examples in greater detail. The big ones that come to mind are America having the option to create an African superstate after fighting a defensive war of liberation on the side of South Africa after the German colonies are defeated. Also they can napalm their own superstate because it HAS to be a political commentary about the Vietnam war and Kirkpatrick doctrine. The superstate is depicted as being just as bad as the former German colonies, that again, the Americans can napalm for some reason and it's a weird dictatorship. Meetings to unify this state also break down because of a walk-out of African leaders because a security guard accidentally tells the bathroom is for whites only. Not only that, at home the war faces exceedingly little support from the populace and they're depicted as actively against it. The German Civil War at the start of the game is triggered by Hitler's death because he was yet to pick a successor after 20 years and the SS were forming a state in a state because of radicalization and degradation of other competent organizations in the country. If Reinhard Heydrich wins the Civil war he realizes that Germany is actually bad, destroys Burgundy (Himmler's fiefdom from where he wants to nuke the world) and then kills himself.

The actual prose is generally very high quality for a mod, you have to understand it's the actual written content that's poor. Because it's meant to be a political commentary. It starts off alright because it's political commentary about why fascism is bad. So if you're a normal person it doesn't cross your mind since you don't need to be beaten over the head with that. But it's getting increasingly worse because new content expanding the timeline will explicitly focus on criticizing America's behaviour during the Cold War. And as we've seen prior, their political commentary is appropriating real life events to comment on that same event, but completely robbed of its proper context. Most of the American writing that's political criticism also doesn't make sense in the timeline because it criticizes things that wouldn't actually happen in their timeline. Like vastly empowered central intelligence networks and American exceptionalism. It's also been criticized for those outside the western world, or even just outside America for not properly portraying countries and characters.

That's pretty much what's happening. Not only that but also the code from the TNO 1.2 Update has also been leaked from what I heard.

heres how it went, pacfica faked being doxed, and pretty much forced the TNO redux discord to be deleted, a day later, a disgruntled dev leaked pacficas email, which people used to find her linkedin and some other stuff to get her dox, the git for TNO was also leaked so 1.2 is already out, after both of this Pacfica left and went into hiding (Israel), and now the TNO team is in shambles and none of them know what to do.

The TL;DR is that in the TNO:Redux community, somebody made a joke about having Pacifia's aka Fredick's (lead dev at the time) dox. This led to them freaking out and putting in place a ban on TNO:Redux content on the Reddit during the submod showcases, significantly reducing potential traffic. Under pressure the lead dev of the redux sepped down and announced an end to the project. A cohort of the redux devs continue the work and someone apparently got Paficia's dox. This caused them to suddenly abdicate their position as lead dev with very little warning. Valrin became lead dev after but left quickly and there seems to be a lack of higher leadership. Subsequently the Gitlab repo got leaked with the latest experimental build and contact information of the dev team. There was also a collection of google excel sheets used for communiation that were leaked that allege mistreatment of the team by higher-ups, frequent crunch periods, and an ineffective and poorly understood hierarchy with few systems in place to document and carry out actions. This situation has supposedly instigated a power struggle within the messy framework of the development hierarchy. The Discord mod team has been playing damage control and spent hours banning anyone who mentioned anything and playing it off as a raid. Eventually they got some sense in their heads and realized that being the victims in this they should make an announcement and farm sympathy instead of trying to suppress information in a server with 20000 people by banning users and deleting messages after they had already been seen. The announcement claims that everything is totally fine behind the scenes and that none of this really matters. Just that higher-ups will be taking a break from the limelight.

EDIT: They also mentioned that they were considering calling the police on the doxxers and github leakers.
