The absolute state of the HoI4 modding "community" makes me glad I lost my passion for making mods for paradox games and pulled all of mine from the internet sometime in 2018.

Alright, listen up folks. I know that the community currently has eyes on this autist thread, so this is a call to action. Not even I believed what was really happening, in my point of seeing it, everyone behaved wrong, especially the TNO devs. But thinking that they are "perfect," that they are the moral ground of this community.

Lies

They lie to their own community, they lie to the mods that were allied to them, and they lie to their own team members. I'm talking of the higher-ups in TNO and also a huge percentage of the team that goes by a "cover" which says that if you don't believe in what they believe if you question them in any way, you will end up with a ban hammer. The community is tired of this, it's tired of pedophiles, of several people on the community that ironically claim themselves part of the "left," called a terrorist their "comrade." The people from the right are always thrown into the trash only because of their beliefs. Saying the n-word is not as bad as being a pedophile, ask the left, ask the right, it's the same answer again. Why always politics in this community? There's always a good guy and a bad guy, well, I say that no longer! Even the Hoi4 Coop, the "face" of the community due that its has the biggest mods in the game. They are tired, we are all tired! No more pedophile defenders, no more people that harm the community. They now hate the Coop for defending free speech and communicating a message, grow up. Sadly for you, people in real life aren't like in Reddit, you are not always right. Unite to stop this thing, unite for making this never happen again, UNITE. WE NEED WEAPONIZED AUTISM, TNO IS NOW THREATENING THE COOP, COOP ADMINS AND MODS, BEWARE THEY ARE NO LONGER YOUR ALLIES ONLY BECAUSE YOU GAVE YOUR OPINION. The COOP is not the enemy, they are being attacked for free speech.

It looks like the HOI4 Modding Coop (3000 member discord but what seems like quite a few representatives from other mods) put out a statement denouncing the TNO mod team. Bastards might get a bit of what they deserve after all, but looks like a few more mods need to put out statements against TNO's degeneracy.
