Plagued /r/TNOmod and the Reddit HOI4 modding community - When a subreddit for a video game mod turns to utter insanity

I'd heard something had happened, and now this is is alive again. What in the god-damned is happening?

Also, come to think of it, why has nobody mentioned Alternatehistory.com? I've seen a few potential lolcows and cunts from there in this thread, and I'm surprised no one has tried talking about that incessant rotting pit.

At this rate I think they will go the way of Kaiserreich, endless reworks and delayed content instead of updating and improving nations that direct need it (India, The International, Germany).

As much as I (to clarify for others here, "Libra" is my Discord name, never bothered to hide it; even AG figured it out with his 2 brain cells) am happy to live in your head rent free I'd like to correct a few lies:
1. I wasn't the one to start the "faking COVID" thing, it was pretty funny though.
2. I did NOT in fact call you a member of the Sand People at that time, I generally used less offensive words back then (mostly "faggot" once in a while).
Both claims can be confirmed by checking my post history; it's publicly available.

Yeah, I only questioned whether Patreon is the right platform for this. But he lies all the time so of course he's gonna make shit up.

Also, he claimed to go through COVID quite badly, and also said he has no time because he has a job (while being online on Discord for most of the time). Shouldn't he be on quarantine or something? I refuse to believe he could be anything else than blue-collar, so no remote work. Then again, who knows how his backwater shithole works.

That's assuming he even has a job, making a HOI4 mod isn't one.

Being on discord all day while "working" isn't unheard of. The question is does he actually have a job.

Japan's another egregious example of that problem with Kaiserreich. Honestly after all the TNO drama I'm suprised Kaiserreich hasn't had anything on that scale. Closest thing they've had was the drama between the devs and sub modders and even then that's fairly low tier sperging compared to the wild ride of TNO.

Personally I'm thinking TNO's days are numbered, they've already been through two lead devs, the content goal posts are constantly being shifted, and their reputation outside of their circle has gone to shit or is going to shit depending who you talk to.

more like the sperging of the two communities against each other; the sperging of KR fans vs KX fans, and of KX fans vs KR fans is the real shit, but on the more important note, can TNO even stop touching a new low? The more this stuff goes on, the more hilariously depressing it gets for how idiotic their shitshow has been. They act as everything is going well when they have skeletons in the closet that keep emerging, not even sure how they keep going on and on this farce, but god, it is fun
 
I don't know if this has been reported yet, but I opened up the Steam page for the mod, and the number of links they have isn't looking too healthy, shit looks like a fucking SCP article. Only reddit survives.

How does the link removed thing work? Did pdx or valve go in and remove them themselves?

It is even worse than Krautreich because in TNO you can't do anything without focus tree. Also most mods usually have 6-7 years worth of focuses depends how much filler there is. TNO needs full ten years. Plus events...

So far they patched mod enough so you dont need every five minutes use Console to fix things that broke.
Added some of promised launch content.
And added bit of post Taboritsky content. Probably put together in week or two so they can pretend this drama didnt affect them for little longer.


They said that Toolbox theory or how they call it will be out in 1 month that was like 6-7 weeks ago
