When the Muta thumbnail drama hit, though, I got reminded of this place and how much better of an experience it truly is because good god are the redditors insufferable. Once I saw this thread pop up, I decided, fuck it, now's as good a time as any to full send.

Anyway, I figure it's rude to come empty-handed, though forgive any newfag formatting mistakes. While they are malding over the Kris Tyson situation and are instead trying to deflect any valid criticism towards Shadman, they of course had to drag Chris O'Neil of all people into it:

Given the account's inactivity, I imagine they moved onto an alt.

As unfortunate as it is, Oney, Zach, and pretty much all of the old famous Newgrounds animators in that circle were friends with Shadman. All have since cut contact and haven’t spoken about or to him since his arrest/Turkey Tom’s video about him.

I'm genuinely glad to see more eyes on the situation with ava kris tyson. That being said, there are a bunch of "beloved" creators with careers on YouTube who have been friends with shadman when they were far older than Kris and definitely should have known better.
Arin "egoraptor" Hanson and his wife Suzy used to be close enough friends that not only did Arin make animations with Shadman but Suzy literally modeled a T-shirt for Shadman and was featured on his website (apologies for the low quality screen cap, it was the only one I could find, but you can see it's her + her tweets to him)
Supposedly Arin is featured in some of Shadman's pedophilic content, but I'm not about to seek that out as I have heard it is as gross as one might imagine.
There's also Sr. Pelo, which I know is sort of funny in a way, given that Arin and Sr. Pelo had a falling out. But, Sr. Pelo has done animations featuring Shadman , and has drawn fanart of shadman. And most damningly, in my opinion, is the fact that Shadman himself talked about the animation being made during the Nazi rally in Charlottesville. This is interesting given that Shadman's entire persona is dressed in an SS uniform.
Finally, there's Chris "Oney" O'Neill and Zach "psychicpebble" Hadel. Both of them are currently fairly beloved because of Zach's co-creating Smiling Friends and Chris's multiple features on the show. Chris and Zach have been friends for a very long time and have made lots of things together. One of their most well known works they created together is the Sleepy Cabin podcast (also known as Sleepycast).
When going into this, I knew that Oney had been friends with Shadman, publicly, to the point where he had at least been featured on oneyplays and has produced music for him (apologies for no link or proof). It didn't take long for me to realize that Sleepycabin not only features him, but features him enough times for Shadman to have his own page on their wiki which conveniently shows that he's had 5 appearances on the podcast. (I'm sure that "the evolution of mankind and molestation" is a totally reasonable conversation...)
I didn't want to look into that further because I frankly have no desire to listen to people have a casual conversation with a certified pedophile like it's nothing, but I ended up finding out that allegedly following the disgusting drawings of keemstar's daughter, that Chris joked about Shadman, "He doesn't like to instigate much shit. He keeps to himself."
Why on earth anyone would try to lampshade pedophilia like that, even jokingly, is beyond me. But that's the type of person that Chris is, and the type of company these people keep.
So, ultimately, I'm glad to see Kris get called out for being close with Shadman. But I want to really draw attention to, and keep a similar about these people who were very openly friendly and collaborated with Shadman. And the work he did was not a secret. These people were all well enough into adulthood to know better than to openly befriend a pedophile like Shadman.
And as far as I know, none of them have any solid explanation for their normalization of this pedo freak whose character is a Nazi? Not that I think there is any good explanation for that, but I think anything would be better than quietly pretending that it never happened.

Not to derail the thread that much but Cory did collab a ton with Shadman back in the day seeing as both drew porn, I'm not aware as to when he stopped but my guess would be after JLullaby started to help Shad on his site. The only person in the Sleepy Cabin crew that helped Shad after being arrested was Mick, but even he was excommunicated for being a creepy retard.

I’m not, to be honest. Rusty Cage is on the list for interacting with Shadman 4 total times on Xitter where he just made nazi jokes. Zach Hadel hasn’t interacted with Shadman in about 6 years.
